Suggested lineup now that the NBA is clearly punishing Lebron for coming home

Post#1 » by kiwibrindle » Tue Apr 28, 2015 12:42 pm

Like it or not JR is out for two games and Love is out for the next series. I say go small:

PG Kyrie - Starting, Delly - Back-up
SG Shump - Starting, Miller
SF Matrix - Starting, Jones
PF LBJ Startiing, TT
C Moz Stating, Perkins (undercontrol please more minutes at the 5)

And Yes I think the NBA sent a clear message to LBJ. Don't cross us or you'll get no calls or justice :banghead:

depends on who we play the next round...

if it's Bucks then yes I agree with your lineup.

If it's Bulls then Shump and TT in place of JR and Love.

I agree with everything except having Miller play the 2. Jimmy Butler plays like 44 mpg for the Bulls. You can't even think about putting Miller on Butler. Also, J. Jones and Miller can never be in the game as the same time.

Warned for trolling. You've been warned twice now for trolling the Cavaliers board. Once more and I am requesting suspension.

It's all about the lineups, making sure appropriate defensive switches can be made, and maintaining the offensive playbook (which is why Miller plugs into SG and switches with Shump on D). Eg: in the most simplistic non-NBA head-coach form...

Perkins/Thompson/Jones/Shumpert/Irving = 8 minutes
Mozgov/Thompson/James/Dellavenova/Irving = 10 minutes
Mozgov/Thompson/James/Shumpert/Irving = 10 minutes
Mozgov/James/Shumpert/Miller/Dellavenova = 5 minutes
Thompson/James/Shumpert/Miller/Irving = 10 minutes
Mozgov/Marion/James/Shumpert/Dellavenova = 5 minutes

Can we please stop with all the victimhood. Sure the refs sucked and that lead to everything else that occurred in that game. But it really stops there. It was highly unlikely Olynyk would intentionally injure Love. It was just one of those things especially when you have outclassed a team and they can't keep you off the boards. They try to cheat to even things up. But that doesn't mean they are trying to injure you.

The egg-shell rule is good enough for the courtroom, it is good enough for the basketball court.

When you do something intentionally, you are responsible for the consequences of that action, even where they aren't foreseeable.

I don't think Olynyk was trying to dislocate Love's arm, but he did. I do think he deserves every single piece of criticism and his suspension .

Karma's a funny thing. Like when Wiggins signs with the Raptors in four years.

I don't like Karma. That means I did something to deserve being a Cleveland fan. I dont remember committing genocide.

Wiggins will be in Minnesota for at least 5 years after his rookie deal.. No kid will turn down that much money.. And besides Minnesota.. we will be a great team by then, the Karma thing and my problem is Kevin Love betrayed Minnesota similar to the way Cleveland fans felt.. We built a team around him, and he bailed, and took no responsibility for his injuries he had.. I'm glad hes gone, as clearly he peaked his potential in Minnesota, now you have to ask yourself, do you keep Love for a max now..?

Well there's no conspiracy against LBJ that's just stupid. In fact i wouldn't be surprised if Smith was suspended longer hadn't lebron been on this team.

Wait, I'm confused. Isn't the NBA happy that LeBron went back to Cleveland?

No matter what he does, most people will find a way to hate on LeBron just because he's LeBron.

Be confused, this is the US and not Canada Ay. Its all about the Benjamins or translated for you "loonies" .

I'm sure the NBA was not happy that the best player in the world is in the 30th largest market. Make sense now?

Take some geography courses eh? New Orleans is a small market than Cleveland. Lebron James sells no matter where he is playing because he supersedes any market size. It's funny that now that he is back in Cleveland his jersey is the top selling jersey in the NBA, where as when he was in Miami, Melo had passed him.

Let me translate this for you since I'm in Canada and not the US. In todays era of social media, live streaming sportsand NBA league pass any game is accessible. Do you not see the monster TV deal the NBA signed?? They are still getting that 3 billion regardless of where Lebron plays.
