I will be so angry if Pogba goes to PSG.
WC players who joins Ligue 1 are massive frauds with no bottle.

J-Mezzy wrote:Hazard vs James is always an interesting debate. Statistically, you could say that James is better since he has played about 1000 less.
Hazard is definitely a better dribble than James, same with Isco. James is a sneaky dribnler though. He is not flashy, but he knows how to get past a defender with intent. What I mean is that James gets past his defender and immediately makes the pass, cross, or shot. He doesn't keep running or dribnling, which makes him dangerous.
Both are amazing players. Madrid might go after Eden due to star power, but what they really need is some CMs and DMs. Not more attacking players when you already have the guys they have
I've always compared James to Reus because of how the run with the ball. It's not the fanciest and they both are better with space to run to, but it's ver subtle, sleak and effective. Now Hamez has developed a lot more as playmaker, whereas Reus has had to take on more and more of the goal scoring burden in his development, but how they run on the ball is very similar and I think comparing Hamez to Hazard has a lot in common with the old Reus-Gotze discussions before the bayern move was announced. Hazard and Gotze are can both be much flashier with their dribbling and thrive more in tight rather than than out in space that they can fly into once they're past their man. But Reus/Hamez are also very effective dribblers and IMO even better when than Hazard/Gotze when they have that space to run into if they can just get past defenders to get to it.
In tight there's no doubt that Reus/Hamez just aren't at that level though.

Oh please, PSG is in that second tier of teams behind Bayern, Barca and Real, and some changes could see them joining the real giants. Verratti was the best young 8 in the world this year with Alaba's injuries, Ilkay still not being back to what he was, and Pogba's stagnant season. Motta is a very strong holder, Matuidi's one of the best physical box to boxers in the game, and Thiago Silva/David Luiz/Marquinhos is a pretty spectacular set of CB talents. If Digne can develop quickly and Aurier can adapt well they could have europes strongest backline with a midfield that could be scare good if Rabiot's departure is covered by the capture of Pogba, despite Kebab leaving his talent in Newcastle.
Shake up the attacking line (resolve the Ibra/Cavani situation and replace Lavezzi at least, maybe Pastore aswell) and that team could be a machine. Part of me wouldn't complain with seeing Kloppo arriving with Pogba. Klopp and Cavani seem made for each other, Lucas would thrive in a Reus-like role, the defense+midfield would be studly enough to let Klopp do his thing tactically, and PSG's fanbase have the stadium and heart for Klopp to connect with them in a way I don't think he would if he went to Citeh.
Now they'll never be as big as HSV, but that can hardly be held against them.

He'd be going to the biggest club in his home country where he'd get paid hella money and is guaranteed CL football on a team that's made the quarter finals 3 years in a row, and are willing to spend to stay competitive. Don't see how a move there makes him a fraud at all. I'd prefer he not go to them, but from his standpoint it's not the worst destination by a long shot.

Just for the record, Willian has played #10 at times during his career, for Chelsea on occasion as well.
I'm curious, why do you think Hazard would play as a #10 at Real Madrid?

As much as people think Ronaldo is slowing down, he's still banging em in and he looks just as threatening running down the flank now as ever. People are convinced he'd move to striker in a year or two, but I'm sceptical of that timeframe. That means Hazard would either have to move towards the middle or further to the right wing. I assumed Hazard would be more comfortable as a 10 than as a right winger.
Also, whilst his finishing/willingness to finish isn't as bad as Özil's, it could be a lot better considering the top player Hazard is. The last time we had a player with fantastic technical ability and less than stellar finishing, we put him in the hole

The French league is trash. Why join a league where you know you will win it by default? The only games that matters are the CL games.
I am sure Klopp would be very excited about facing Rennes away.
PSG have no fanbase, their fans left after all the money came. It's basically a typical Paris crowd with upper class people and celebrities kinda like Lakers. A guy like Klopp with his Pöhler cap would defo fit in to that, yeah. And i'm not sure the Frenchies can understand Denglisch.

could be replaced with "and Pogba's recent injury" but his season has by no means been stagnant. I hope he stays with Juve but if they manage to beat Real without him he may be gone in the summer.

Sounds like Serie A, how would that be any different for pogba?
As for the crowd at the parc; they have better atmosphere than the Allianz or imtech. *shrug*
They're not BVB but none of the real giants have BVB's crowd.

Because Bayern is a the 3rd or 4th biggest club in the world and the other clubs are much bigger and better than the French clubs below PSG.

that's news to me, monaco went further than any german team not named bayern and has much bigger resources. what makes schalke, wolfsburg, leverkusen better than lyon, marsille, saint ettienne? outside of 1 year from dortmund, non bayern german teams has shown just as much as non psg french teams.

Bundesliga gets 2x the crowds Ligue 1 gets, I dunno how much of a factor that would be.

This.
Monaco-Lyon-Marseille much closer to be on PSG's level than Wolfsburg-Leverkusen-Monchengladbach to Bayern.
With a good coach, PSG is as good as Bayern also.

PSG is not on Bayern's level regardless of the coach, even with all of Bayern's injuries that a silly.
And those clubs are only closer to PSG because Bayern are so much stronger than PSG. Dortmund over the previous two seasons have accomplished more than any French club have this century. So gtfoh with that fallacious argument.
And Monaco aren't spending big any more that's why they bought bertabatov to replace falcao, so no; they have less resources than VFL or BVB.

I'll cede to your expertise as you've seen more of him than I, but I felt like he hadn't made as big a step this season as I wanted him to or as veratti did... atleast from my limited viewings. Happy to be wrong though, kid is a fun talent.

I gotta admit, I did spaz on Monaco's finals appearance because for some reason I had it happening in the 90s...which is weird cause I remember loving Prso that year...Still BVB didn't just make it to the quarterfinals, they came within a Miki-miss of stopping Real from getting La Decima despite having had their star striker suspended for the first over a bogus yellow card, after having been the only team in the CL to even put up a fight against Jupp's Bayern. That's more impressive than a finals run over a decade ago which ended with a loss to Porto, and losing to this iteration of Juve as helplessly as they did...at least in my eyes.
And if the owner doesn't give the club access to those funds then no, they don't have them. Does Bayer have stronger resources than Schalke or BVB? Does Hoppenheim? Are Anzhi still a spending super-power? A lot of teams have wealthy backers, but if those backers aren't putting money into the club than the club doesn't still get to count the backer's bank account as their own. Otherwise HSV wouldn't have needed Kuhne to save them from losing their license.
