Pretty big shocker. Seems like he rose late. They say his style of play really fits the NFL. I'm still pretty surprised it's not ILB/DL/CB.

Good read on him here:

Weird pick. What I'm watching right now I REALLY like him as a safety, but everybody's saying CB? Looks like a playmaker at any rate.

He played CB in junior college, and he's supposed to be a great cover man at S. They must think he can make the transition.

Came over here to see who you guys think we should pick.

I'm watching commercials now.

Kiper also thought he should have gone earlier.

I'm surprised they took him with Brown, Gregory, and all the ILbs still on the board. If he can play CB it's thought to argue with though. Hopefully they can get a ILB in rd 2

Maybe they view him as a Nick Collins type player

Very interesting pick, I think I like it. You can never have too many playmakers. If he can play in the slot on passing downs while he develops that will be very helpful. I'm curious as to whether they plan to try and make him a fulltime CB.

Two interesting guys to watch at CB this year in Goodson and Randall. It sounds like we view him as a corner. He went from 181 to 196 between season and combine, so figure you can probably trim a bit off that if needed.

I like the pick. In a traditional sense safety wasn't a need, but he can play all over.

Randy Gregory sitting there is going to make for a really interesting thing to look at in the years to come, though.

Apparently we do see him as a corner. I like that he has experience returning punts and kickoffs too.

I am not into it. Felt like a lot of people dropped to us for us to pick a safety. Not a sure thing to project to CB.

Stephone Anthony off the board with the next pick. The run on ILB is going to come quickly after our pick.
