It's gonna be real funny when dunleavy does it again and some goon retaliates by taking rose out mid air and his knee explodes. We'll see about people defending this kind of behavior then and the kind of discussion people want to have.

Dunleavy deserved it but doesn't mean Giannis should have done it. They both come out of this looking bad.
The feedback I've received from our fans is they understand we are trying to build something great. Good decisions come from having a broad set of options and making tough calls. We will do it unblinkingly. We have to be willing to take smart risks-Hinkie

Meh, it wasn't the right thing to do, but not a big deal. He'll pay his fine, take a short suspension maybe, and then move on.

**** Mike Dunleavy, this guy brings this **** on himself with his antics, he is no victim...do not feel bad for him...im a little disappointed someone hasnt punched him the face yet.

The man provokes, provokes, provokes with the intend of getting a reaction. When he does people are calling the other guy bush league...THAT is the problem

I don't love "dirty" play, but this league is so soft that a few uncalled fouls from a 34 year old deserves this kind of reaction?

Dunleavy was definitely instigating with small subtle things, but Giannis took it way too far. Do what Dunleavy is doing to retaliate; don't look to potentially injure someone. This just shows how immature Giannis is as well as his mental weakness. There are ways to get back at someone, and this was one of the least intelligent ways to do it.

I never knew there was this much hatred for Dunleavy.. I'm not a massive fan of him as a Bulls fan, he's got a bit of a pouty/b***iness to him like Gasol, at least when he first got here, but I can't think of any time he's really been like that this season. Otherwise, he's largely a class act.

The series was always a bit chippy and players are seeing what they can get away with. Mike clearly got away with some light little niggling things, but so many players do that. The replay made his push on MCW look a lot more malicious than it was as well.

Understandable inexperience with Giannis getting rattled, that charge has no place in the game and was rightfully ejected (not a knock on him, I love the Greek Freak, he just clearly got rattled).

Dunleavy's incidents in this game are somewhat akin to, in my mind, the stuff I've watched Bogut get away with, subtle holds and little things.

You're 100% right. Giannis went way too far, he could have injured someone! Next time he should just punch someone in the head.

LOL at how easy it is to rattle some players and fans. It's Mike Dunleavy ffs, if you let him get in your head and have no other way of getting back at him but by tackling him full speed and getting ejected for it, then that's all on you.

It's sad reading some of these posts calling it a righteous play. Takes a weak minded player and weak minded individual to stoop that low like Giannis did and all I can do is laugh at you guys supporting it as if it did the Bucks any good.

Mike Dunleavy 1 - Bucks and fans supporting this 0

They were down 30 at half.

Open season on punks. Have at it Greek Freak.

Let's be very clear here: Mike Dunleavy was the aggressor. He's always the aggressor. He just for one night got punched back for it. Shed no crocodile tears. In a different era somebody would be clotheslining him every other game.

If Giannis hurt his team by this, then bad play. But he didn't, game was over. If Giannis went after an innocent bystander in retaliation ala a pitcher throwing at some guy not involved, tackled Rose or some such, then bad play. But he didn't. Dunleavy was being a punk all series long as normal, Freak took advantage of a situation where there were no consequences for his team and leveled him. Good.

Sucker punching someone in the throat is not playoff nor regular season basketball.

It is what it is. Giannis let it get to his head an retaliated in the least impactful way he could've, by taking himself out of the game.

And let's stop talking as if Dunleavy is the second coming of Hitler, shall we?
