Yep. Bernman and I were right.

Where was this guy mocked? Could we not take him later?

I'm predicting Mike McKenzie in the third round.

Ted has a wonderful eye for talent with D backs and WR's.

I just wish he'd focus as much on our defensive front 7.

Know nothing about him. They must be doing something schematically different.

To be far mock drafts really don't mean a ton.

Hopefully he stops offenses from gashing us for major yards on first and second down up the middle.

Excellent draft pick. He has fantastic ball skills. Another Hayward.

Played one year of football and couldn't we have taken him third or later? I trust TT but this one is fishy.

In round 3 they should draft a DB that would rather be playing hockey.

5-11, 193, 4.52

Good athlete, but like most of the late 1, 2 corners, extremely raw. Only one year of football since high school, only started playing corner in 2014. Doesn't jam much, but we're not looking for that.

Has been compared to Byron Maxwell.

He actually could have gone with our first pick and it wouldn't have been shocking. Was going 2nd most drafts I saw.

Ran REAL slow at the combine. 4.67 on his first attempt. 4.58 on his second. Would be elite numbers... for a linebacker.

About what? I've heard of him. In fact he was on my top 5 list for both the 1st and 2nd round picks, so I view this as a great value, and probably another 2nd round pick for Ted that we look back on as a steal in isolation. He went from basketball standout to MAC DPOY in one year. Big-time play-making QB, very quick, good ball skills, adequate size but he looks on the small side (probable slot guy), and a surprisingly physical tackler. His knocks are not overly tall (but thick), not good timed speed (but plays faster), and can gamble too much.

Like I said in the other thread, 3-3-5 here we come. How about a 3-2-6 while we're at it. Rollins can tackle. :)

I've seen him in the second round multiple times. For whatever that is worth.

Very impressed with his stats and accolades for one year of football.

Only thing I don't like is clearly we should have reached for an ILB at one and then went project corner.

Not sure when you are a SB contender this close and you don't use FA you want two project guys with your first two picks.
