Really wanted to put the gif up of Randy Wittman struggling with clipboard but I couldn't find it, if anyone finds it let me know and I'll switch it with the one I have up there. Although the one already up is pretty good

Let's go Hawks. We looked a lot better like the powerhouse in the 3rd Quarter of game 6 against the Nets. I think the Hawks are regaining their form now. They were out of sync that whole series against the Nets. But sometimes you have to play out of it, and I think this series was a good warm up for the 2nd round.

Milsap looks like he's just about over that shoulder injury, and he's shaken off the rust. Milsap is starting to look like his old self, Horford hitting that mid-range jumper again is great. If the Hawks are getting that steam back and getting back to Hawks basketball look out. Washington is in trouble and the rest of the East teams left in the playoffs.

Let's go baby Round 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, we've gotten past Brooklyn. The rust has been shaken off, and we play Washington well: Hawks in 6.

I'm really not sure which lineup the Wizards will use the most..

Will it be this one?

Wall/Beal/Pierce/Nene/Gortat

Or

Wall/Beal/Pierce/Gooden/Gortat

Or

Wall/Beal/Porter/Pierce/Gortat

I can't recall if we faced the last wizards lineup in the RS but when Otto and Pierce were both out there at the 3 & 4 in the raptors series that seemed like when the Wizards were gellin' the most.

I think our guys our starting to play into their January groove now, this is the team I wanted to face all along in the 2nd round so I'm hoping for a quick and easy series.

Still waiting for big production games from Baze, Scott, and Dennis so hopefully they find their own rhythm(s) in this series.

I'm going to call it like this..

Hawks- W
Hawks- W
Wizards- L
Wizards- W
Hawks- L
Wizards- W

Hawks win 4-2

Congrats to your team. You deserved it. This series against washington will be much easier for you. And I expect you to gain a lot of steam going to ECF. Wouldnt be surprised at all to see you go all the way to the finals now.

I think Witt won't change anything in starting lineup and it should be Wall-Beal-Pierce-Nene- Gortat

I feel like game 1 is the wizards to steal. I would be surprised if we pull this one out. Not so much the rest, our shooting just seems off in day games.

I think it goes both ways, Wizards have had a history of sucking in the worst of ways in afternoon games this season. Ask any wiz fan. I'm just hoping we play with the same intensity as we played in game 6.

We look WAY better than we did in the Nets series.

This is Hawks basketball.

Carroll is totally getting a 10+ million offer from someone. This tear he is in has been like the last month of the season and playoffs...and I am loving it.

Schroder looks to have his head back on early. If that's the case we are really good. Now just need Scott and Bazemore(offensively) to join us.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
