There were complaints last year too about the unknowns, mainly Hitchens, how'd that work out. I will trust this staff over me and my draft guides.

I won't lie and say I wasn't shocked often today but I'm giving them all a chance.

I trust in Rod as well. I am just fine with admitting I am not understanding it. We picked up 2 OT's think 4 LBs/DE. Traded a 6th rd. draft pick to draft a Blocking TE right before the draft ends. I assume this means they are gonna let Hannah walk next year. But we gave up a 6th rd. pick for what would basically be a UDFA.
Completely understood the 1st 3 picks. The rest I don't.

Trust me I am not a sky is falling type person. Just don't understand it therefore I cant be excited for the 2nd half of the draft.
It almost seemed like we were just drafting camp bodies, instead of trying to find that late round gem.

Hopefully by the time the season starts I can be excited about these guys, but just don't see it. Unless we are about to lose a bunch of guys I don't know about, a lot of our picks are log jammed on the roster.

Also with the way we drafted I wonder if we are gonna turn some DEs into DTs.

Understood. I'm confused too but figure I'll let it play out and see how it works.

Outside our first pick, (which I would have done something different) was a complete joke. Our biggest need was not addressed. I thought with good health and a good draft, we were super bowl bound this year. I can't see how we have improved from last year and have reservations going into this season. This felt more like a Jerry draft to me because it made no sense.

all because we didn't go after a RB? they are happy with what we have, and we helped out front 7. Part of winning games isn't all about offense. Its about out scoring the other team and that is done 3 ways in the nfl. What has been our biggest problem in achieving that result over the last 2 years? It sure hasn't been our offense

meh, unless we would have taken 1 in the first 2 rounds there wasn't one you could say that could come in an supplant Hayden, Brent, or McClain.

I hope Ryan Williams is the RB that surprises us this year. Hope he is good enough to get the lions share of the touches.
If I remember right. Didn't we give him a bonus to be on our PS. Also I heard he turned down opportunities to go elsewhere & stay on our Practice Squad. Don't know if this is true or not (didn't even know they had a choice) but if so seems like he & the Cowboys thought he had a future here. If so. This could be a very good reason they didn't want to get any expensive RB or one in the draft.
Just spitballin' here.

I'm not pissed at all we didn't get a RB. I was upset we didn't address the DT position. Patriots sure did, and got the steal of the draft. I wanted the entire draft spent on defense.

Don't worry. Tyrone Crawford - Pro Bowler will hold down the fort.

That was sarcasm.
