Last season's team would have crumbled against the Spurs let alone winning this game on the road after that epic series. Huge W.

Doc is an elite coach who has a title. He knows what it takes. I hope we get them in the Finals.. Be a great series. Two coaches who know each other about as well as two can.

Yes, it's a players league and you need talent, but coaching is so very important.

Kerr is new but he has a distinct advantage for an inexperienced coach in that he has all those rings and played for the two greatest coaches of the era... and one of the best college coaches of all time. He's been around ultimate winners since his days at U of A with Lute. And then being a color man for all those years, he knows the league and the players so well.

To be fair, when it comes to the Clippers I think last season's team gave up more because of their racist owner than anything. I could be wrong, just an opinion.

updated championship %s:

48% warriors
14% cavs
13% bulls (actually favored to get out of east)
10% clips

4.7% rockets
4.4% hawks
3.9% wiz
<2% grizz

also interesting to note that hawks are still slight vegas favorites in their series right now. i agree

interesting that championship percentage is lower for Bulls than Cavaliers considering the Eastern favor but I guess not much chance is given to Bulls in finals. Either way. Bulls will most likely be underdogs here on out in playoffs vs. Any team except Wizards

Papa Rivers made GM Rivers acquire his son, which has really put Coach Rivers at a disadvantage here.

Thought he played well. His D was good. The Clippers were good with him. he's 4-6 from 3 right now with 15 pts and his team is about to win by double digits.

There’s Austin, driving top speed, at an elderly Jason Terry, dribbling behind his back and falling down, as his lower body violently rebels at the level of coordination being asked of it, and the ball skitters away. He gamely tries to swipe at it, like a man whose hat has just blown off and is now tumbling down the street to a life free from tyranny. This play made me sad deep inside of my chest.

I'm shocked that GS is about even money... I'm taking the field . Matter of fact, I might be the only one on the planet who thinks they are not getting out of the West.

I cant believe how the Rockets just gave up like 2:40 mins left in the game. They just totally like said F it. That was a terrible loss for them.

I am with you in thinking that GSW is not coming out of the West. It kind of has to do with my picks to start the season though. But it is only a small group of us but oh well

If the Warriors aren't coming out of the West, who is?

Sure, it's possible they lose, but i'd like to hear a good reason as to why they wouldn't be the heavy favourites to win the West let alone winning the whole damn thing.

Golden State tries to steal another game tonight. They looked very good in game one.

The lack of entitlement starters on GS is great to see.

Your boy CP3 and the Clips could put them out of their misery.

EDIT: Who am I kidding, Warriors in 5...

Basically what I inferred before in my previous post. Unlike most ppl..I do not like to change picks on a week to week basis. I am one of the minority that sticks with my picks from start and rides with them

That's fine, but i'm interested to know why Golden State weren't the pick initially. I could understand if someone had the Spurs heading into the playoffs, but now that they're out, I am assuming people will change their pick, no?

Houston just don't have the depth or mental fortitude to make it to the Finals. The Clippers have a great 6 man rotation, but they're going to be gassed at some point. Memphis won't beat the Warriors.

I really can't see who is beating this Warriors team out West at this point. It's not impossible, but they have to be the favourite, so i'm interested to see why people haven't backed in the team that was top 2 in offense and defense this season.

I had a tie between Spurs and Grizzlies in beg. Of season to make the finals out of the west. of course assuming 100% health. SA is out now. So I am just down to my other team with the Grizzlies due to experience, defense, and are just built for the half court game in the playoffs. By no means am I saying Memphis will win (GSW for sure are favorites) but I am gonna stick with them
