Wow, that's pretty cheap. So much for him not being drafted being a real good thing for him financially. Hopefully for Collins all $1.7 million is guaranteed?

Followed by "Collins is a great pickup for the Cowboys...". Now if it was the Jets or Giants, it would be "Why would they want Collins, he's not worth adding..."

Everyone is an analyst nowadays  You don't know anything, no offense. We will see how he does

I've watched ever game Collins ever started, been following him ever since he embarrassed his mother on national TV. He plays very much like Roy Williams on the Cowboys, much better when the play is in front of him. There's a reason why his stock went from top ten to out of the first round. But hey if Collins say's it's so then so be it... right?

Although it looks like Mac may be willing to gamble (at least a little) with guys with baggage. The Jets reportedly have signed former Syracuse DT Davon Walls (yep, another defensive lineman). Walls was kicked out of the school for robbery and has been bouncing around various no name colleges since. Some believe that had he remained at Syracuse he'd have been a potential 1st round pick. Supposedly a beast of a DT at 6'5" 290lb that ran 4.8 in the 40, has a 84" wingspan and Shrek sized hands. Walls was regarded by some as the best kept secret in the 2015 NFL draft as far as a guy with serious NFL potential but that few people knew about or had on their board (since he's been basically off the radar the last couple years).

Interesting as hell on paper, can't say I know a damn thing about him. Obviously nothing more than a camp body at this point, probably going to be hard pressed to make this team with how many linemen are already guaranteed jobs.

hes a UDFA, and the rookie pay scale still applies to him.

The maximum he can be offered was 1.7m/3years

"Of course Dallas"

You mean "of course Dallas, one of the most middling-to-below average teams for over two decades..."?

And that was the most anyone could offer him.

Amazing...

Can't believe no team wanted to risk a 7 rounder on this guy. Half of 7 rounders don't even make the team.

Wish the Giants got him.

It may be "bad press" but who gives imo.

More like, they got a red flag guy on the cheap. See the NEB DE they got in the second round, and Greg Hardy who beats women.

Jeez, sorry Jags fans.

What's crazy is that if this guy landed on the Jets (I certainly expected him more than Leonard Williams dropping to us), I would've been content (That's a lie, I would've been more than happy).
