More trade value: Bledsoe or Lawson?

Post#1 » by Damkac » Sat May 9, 2015 11:25 pm

There are rumors that Denver might trade Lawson. Nothing indicates that Suns wants to trade Bledsoe but that's what many fans wants. Both of them makes a lots of sense in Sacramento. Lawson has connection with Karl while Bledsoe is Cousins buddy from college.

Who is worth more? Ty Lawson is without a doubt better playmaker but Bledsoe is better defender and is younger. Also Bledsoe is signed for 2 more years with is important with the rising cap.

Between the two I'd take Bledsoe. However, I think the Kings have bigger fish to fry than get a marginal(if that) upgrade at point guard.

Yeah Bledsoe has much more value. But Lawson is certainly easier to acquire and that will probably seal the deal. It's the defense that really sets him apart from the plethora of other point guards flooding the market

Wait wut. Just comparing the two players, I'm pretty sure Bledsoe is a significant upgrade from Darren freaking Collision

I voted Bledsoe.

He's younger, he's locked in long term (which is a plus with the rising cap), he plays better defense, and he has better physical attributes.

Oh, for the Kings, I would be MORE inclined on dangling the #6 for Bledsoe than Lawson too.

Lawson is overrated by some people around here. Especially, when they conveniently overlook Lawson's past & recent baggage.

Did you guys offer #8 and IT for Bledsoe last summer or was that just a rumor?

No doubt Bledsoe is an upgrade... but if you look at their numbers and compare contracts one could argue with all the other needs the Kings have keeping Collision could make more sense over acquiring Bledsoe.

yeah you could argue that. Getting Bled might go a long way in keeping Cousins in Sac too though. Doubt Wall is getting traded anytime soon

You do realize hes locked into a longterm contract? Keeping Boogie in Sacramento is a total non-issue.

Not much.

The guy who tweeted this "rumor" is named Jake Fischer. Who is a 76ers blogger.

Hmmm.

yeah its not. And one of them is very much on the trade block and one almost certainly isn't considering the moves the Suns made at the deadline. Which only adds the price you would have to pay to get them to consider moving him.

I imagine Lawson moves for value less than a lotto pick this summer.

Keeping Cousins "happy" is a total issue.

Gotta say Bledsoe has more trade value, younger, bigger but has had some injuries.

Theres like 6 teams that could use a point guard and they all pretty much have the same assets to allocate for a PG upgrade, so while one player may be better, their trade values are identical.

good point. When the first one goes the second will probably go for the same value or close to it.

Easy way to keep Cousins happy is add more W's in the win column... He won't care if its his college buddy or a vet he is getting used to playing with.....just my opinion.
