Could have (probably should have) been stopped there.

Aw, I was kind of hoping the event would finish without a post in this thread, lol.

I turned it on during the 3rd round of the main event just because I wanted something to watch while I ate lunch. Not the best choice.

Should have been stopped way earlier, but at that point I almost wanted it to go to the judges just to see what the scorecards would be. Scores of like 50-43, 50-42, and even 50-41 may have been in play.

Please tell me you have some spreadsheet set up for those things.

This card wasn't worth the effort.

Anybody in favour of Stipe getting the winner of Cain/Werdum next month? Looking at the list of potential title shot contenders- i think it makes sense for Stipe to get the shot. He beat the Number 5 ranked HW in decisive fashion. Browne lost in an one-sided affair to Werdum last year, and beating Schaub and possibly Arlovski does not impress me more than what Stipe did last night. I know Stipe lost against JDS, but that was a close fight which i scored 3 Rounds to 2 for JDS and Stipe did impress in that fight. If not the title shot, i also like Stipe vs. the Reem as well. However, i think looking at the shallow HW division- Stipe getting the shot next makes sense from my end.

I'd be cool with Stipe getting the shot. Or not. Whatever. I think ideally you would have someone coming off more than one win, but HW is garbage and full of random results, so I don't really care.

If Cain wins, Stipe will have to wait three years for the fight anyway.

Fight should have been stopped rounds earlier. Stupid.

Whitaker with a hell of a KO. Exciting addition.

But what if Werdum wins, JDS is more deserving than Miocic.

True, however, JDS is sidelined until November. Having said that- that timing could work out for November if Werdum wins.

Or a rematch with JDS makes sense for Miocic too.
