On top of neither of our bigs can shoot, Greg and Dre aren't great post up players. That's why I shake my head every time someone compares our team with LAC or MEM.

Nothing I could say would make any difference if you've been watching games and coming to that conclusion.

I watch games and look at stats Greg's average finishing ability hinders him to be a great post up player and the stats back that up. Dre has a decent jump hook but other than that isn't good in the post but his strength is the pnr.

There's some truth to that, really. Monroe looks good in the post -- he has ALL the moves -- but he doesn't convert at a good rate.

For a guy that basically takes nothing outside of 8 feet (average shot distance: 4.0 feet this year and 4.5 feet for his career), shooting 50.5% for his career (49.6% last year) isn't good. AT ALL.

Those are facts. I know he's a highly skilled player, but his lack of leaping ability and his average touch don't produce sparkling results. Solid, yes, but nowhere near "good".

Monroe is simply 10 years too late IMO

Can't protect the rim or shoot beyond 10 feet. In the old days you'd pair him with a shot blocker at PF that could really defend and be fine with whatever spark you could find on the perimeter.

Not anymore!

The ideal pairing for Monroe is Ibaka...With Curry at PG...throw in a 3 & D SF, someone like Middleton at SG and BOOM! Winner!

Monroe to OKC for a bunch of young dudes and picks?

Monroe to GSW for Lee & heaps of picks...

I don't Monroe back at all. I don't think he fits and would hinder the rebuild too much
