They didn't miss a layup. Millsap owned. He and Horford were both on. Meanwhile, Gortat and Porter were awful. Gooden was ineffective.

Randy Wittman is 6-2 on the road in playoff games. (Or is he 7-2?)

If Wall plays the Wizard will beat the Hawks, unless the refs job them royally.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Yeah, I agree. This was a critical game that would have essentially decided the series had Washington won. I gotta think a coach has to pull out all the stops game-by-game to scrape together a win, and all the more so when the best player is out.

I disagree. In the playoffs you play your 8 best players. Only injury or foul trouble or extreme desperation should change your rotations. We win with our best, we lose with our best.

I disagree with your disagreement :) On any given night, another player could rise to the occasion when your starter is having a bad night, or perhaps he may be in a bad match-up situation.

If you're going to bench Marcin because he's struggling, which I think is a bad idea, who do you replace him with? And if his replacement also struggles, doesn't Witt get royally blasted by fans on this board and elsewhere for benching his best big man during a crucial playoff game?

I am not advocating a complete benching, just going to someone else for a few minutes. Hump has range and can rebound.

^ Exactly, just try something to get a spark when the team is struggling or a guy is dragging the team down. Especially in the playoffs, when every game counts.
