Thank god we 'hedged' this year on the roster.

Can't trust that Derrick Rose to be worth going all in with your assets!

Well for all the concern about the future, no worry, the future will be all we have soon enough. Maybe in 4 years trying to sit on the fence will all pay off.

A chance like this, with such a weak injured field in the East, might not come along for many years again. When you have a team that is very close, you do everything you have to fill your gaps and take advantage. We didn't do that.

The rookies were not ready to be contributors in playoff situations, our cheap/old backup PGs totally shat their pants, and too many empty stretches of production from our wings after Butler, with no one to call on to solve it.

Noah is now a shell of himself, but Niko and Taj aren't doing much better to where anyone can make up for it. And neither is a center. The team simply isn't deep or talented enough.

You can't 'hedge' and expect to beat LeBron James. He's too good.

Pretty mediocre year really, with one of least likable Bulls teams in terms of effort. Ironic, for all the criticism and questioning of Derrick Rose this year, he turns out to be one of the few guys that brings it with heart and effort in the playoffs.

But he can't be relied on like the MVP anymore, like he had to try to be tonight, and then was obviously playing hurt at the end.
Now outside of a miraculous historic comeback, the wrting is on the wall for this series.

Could Thibs be any worse with the timeouts? After Rose got blocked with 2 minutes left and the Bulls called a timeout, the Bulls came out with a putrid possession that ended in a shot clock violation. Exactly what the **** **** did Thibs draw up in that timeout?

I don't get the title of the thread.

Rose clearly not the same after the wrist.
Kris Bryant will go down as the greatest Chicago athlete after MJ

edit 7/30/21: okay maybe not, but it was a fun ride nonetheless

Was afraid this would happen with the game 4 loss. Now we just wait for the inevitable.

I cannot believe Noah. Stupid lob and smiles after it too. Unbelievable. He shouldn't be smiling about ANYTHING. 4 Turnovers and a bunch of other terrible crap, and missed the biggest rebound of his life. He had it in his hands, and missed it. Ridiculous.

Lost a lot of respect from me.

Rose is hurt. He was avoiding dribbling and shooting righty.

Noah needs to go. Him and his boy Thibs.

I really hope we get rid of Noah this summer. I'm sorry but I don't want him to be a Bull anymore

If I see another inbounds play to Noah at the 3pt line with less than 3 seconds on the shot clock, I'm out.

Gibson... garbage. 4-12 and 5 fouls in 25 min
Mirotic... garbage. 2-7 and a +/- of -23

We needed those guys to step up with Gasol out and they are just pure hot garbage instead.

I feel bad for Gasol. He put so much work into the regular season and then gets injured in the playoffs.
The real Derrick Rose is still laying on that court in 2012.

Return to Chicago Bulls
