Glad to hear that. But you weren't exactly "right". Said Kyrie would dominate Derrick, said Cleveland wouldn't be tested in the East.

I said Cleveland wouldn't be pushed to 7 in the East, and they probably won't be. I also was under the assumption that Kevin Love would be healthy and playing. That's a huge difference.

Cavs win this series in 5 easily with Love. They struggle in 6 against the Bulls without him. What's the difference? They win regardless. They're better. They were better from day 1.

Of course because with Love they are a superior team, without Love they look like they are still better

I honestly believe Love on that team was oil and water. They're better without him. One less mouth to feed.

PG -Our mantra... next season!

Can't trust that Derrick Rose to be worth going all in with your assets!

Well for all the concern about the future, no worry, the future will be all we have soon enough. Maybe in 4 years trying to sit on the fence will all pay off.

A chance like this, with such a weak injured field in the East, might not come along for many years again. When you have a team that is very close, you do everything you have to fill your gaps and take advantage. We didn't do that.

The rookies were not ready to be contributors in playoff situations, our cheap/old backup PGs totally shat their pants, and too many empty stretches of production from our wings after Butler, with no one to call on to solve it.

Noah is now a shell of himself, but Niko and Taj aren't doing much better to where anyone can make up for it. And neither is a center. The team simply isn't deep or talented enough.

You can't 'hedge' and expect to beat LeBron James. He's too good.

Pretty mediocre year really, with one of least likable Bulls teams in terms of effort. Ironic, for all the criticism and questioning of Derrick Rose this year, he turns out to be one of the few guys that brings it with heart and effort in the playoffs.

But he can't be relied on like the MVP anymore, like he had to try to be tonight, and then was obviously playing hurt at the end.
Now outside of a miraculous historic comeback, the wrting is on the wall for this series.

I wonder what date this was written.

Pathetic to be down 3-2 to this mediocre Cavs team. Absolutely shameful.

And screw Phil Jackson for giving them Shump and Smith for nothing

Our FO doesnt has the guts to make a trade like that with the Knicks. Dont blame Phil, blame GarPax.

He was missing before the injury, but yeah he was clearly in some pain.

Still think his conditioning needs work. He's dominant in short spurts, but can't sustain it. It's been a trend all year.

Damn he looked great to start though and that hand injury played a factor too.

Regardless, he's been pretty awesome this series all things considered. Didn't we think he could be the weak link?

Yeah. I think he will be fine going forward. Rose/Butler is is great duo to build around.

It would be the biggest joke of the year if the Bulls pull game 6 and 7 out of their asses, and I would love every bit of it.

Why you guys thinking the series is over. I think the Bulls will win Game 6, and its 50/50 in Game 7. It's not over yet. Hopefully they come out with a lot of fire next game.

There is still hope if we day game 6 at home we still in it! We need Gibson we need Gasol. We need to get Mike in it. We need the Bench so step up. We need rose to not have a **** up wrist.

Everyone talks about how bad the bulls are but we Trade away all our Assets. JR Smith, Aldridge, Kyle Korver, Marco Belinelli and Omer Asik, Tyson Chandler. Thats only to name a few (NATE THE GREAT)

I don't think he did either, but it was still a disappointing play call given the momentum and timeout. As bad as the Bulls played, they still somehow had a chance to win and they shot themselves in the foot.

I actually liked that shot he just completely wiffed. He just hit a 3 before that.

You like a fadeaway 3 point shot with tons of time on the shot lock?

To be fair, it looks like that wrist was bothering him.

I do think the way he's played has been a big positive. Even if we lose this series.

Even without the wrist, Rose has been fading late in games as his minutes get up all year. Even game 4 where he started 9-13, then went 2-10 the rest of the way.

The whole program was to start building a team 'with Derrick' instead of 'around Derrick' and we really haven't pulled that off to the necessary degree.

Tonight the offense was just Rose making everything happen early and when he started fatiguing and got hurt, we had very little rhythm or coherent team attack.

People are blaming Thibs and he shares in it, but I think this team has too many offensive parasites that have no hope to score on their own. We need one more ball handler, playmaker type, because Jimmy, while a great 2nd scorer, isn't a great 2nd playmaker.

That was the difference tonight. Cavs offense stutters up just as much, but they not only have James, but even when he is gasping for air after failing to get out of the game for rest, JR Smith steps up and scores entirely on his own with a 3 pointer in a key possessions. Those small differences can decide games. Rose and Jimmy can't make the play every damn time for 48 minutes.

And LeBron 38/12/6/3/3, 0 turnovers, 14-for-24 shooting. And this was a 2 point game in the final minute. Bulls can actually win a Game 7 in Cleveland if Pau gets back and Derrick's wrist is okay. Just gotta get Game 6.

I have no faith in this team.

Taj disappointed me tonight. Noah disappointed me tonight. Mirotic disappointed me tonight. Rose disappointed me tonight if he doesn't have a serious injury which he probably does, which is disappointing. Who else? I don\t know but this team has been so frustrating all year. I understand why people are packing it in, they just want this awful season to be done with so we can make some changes.

Knowing these Bulls, they will probably win game 6 and lose game 7 in some unbearable fashion. What a depressing game.

I really hate Lebron James.
Offensive fouls on every drive. Flops like a fish out of water. Walks constantly. Pushes off without penalty everywhere.

And worst of all, cries about his mistreatment from the opening tip to the last bell.

Glad he is not a Bull. He makes me hate NBA basketball every time I see him play.

Thibs is good at defense strategies but he is below average in offensive strategies.

J.R. Smith is a good player. I am sick of nerds talking about stats. Dude outplays all of our scrubs, and makes HUGE SHOTS. Ice cold veins. Directly impacts wins.

He has always been a 6'6" Ben Gordon with a bad attitude and low IQ. Doesn't take away the fact that he can score like a mofo. I never understood why people act like he is trash.

Ctownbulls wrote:How about the Noah backdoor pass to Butler while he was being guarded by LeBron out of a crucial timeout.

How is that the play call?

How about LeBron guarding Noah the entire 2nd quarter yet we kept running pick and roll with Noah (our worst offensive player) so Lebron could switch onto the ball handler.

How about have Noah and Hinrich on the court at the same time for almost 20 minutes?

How about letting LeBron score 12 straight to start the 2nd quarter because Jimmy had 2 fouls and had to play tentative. Why not let Snell go as hard as he can and give some fouls?

Thibs disgusted me tonight
.

No, Thibs is a genius.

Gasol is most likely out for game 6.

I don't see us winning it honestly. Game 4 was the one.
