Two great movies ive seen recently :

It follows - dread.filled.horror, very reminiscent of 70s horror

Ex machina - slow burn, but deals with classic sci fi conventions in a refreshing way

Yeah I went back to LA in 2009 for residency (which is more or less why I vanished), I left again last year to do a 1 year fellowship at Stanford but I will be moving back to LA in July. Woohoo! This is probably be the last time I ever move. Hoping to stay in LA for the foreseeable future.
