Hey everyone! Finally found where y'all landed after hoopla. Got busy and hadn't been around for a few months and when I went back to catch up on the new Niner news given recent events all I found was purguy spouting BS and complaints over and over again. Excited to once again lurk and read well thought opinions!

Regarding the possibility of buying the Oakland A's, Warriors owner Joe Lacob was quoted as saying that his group "would have interest, I think that’s clearly been out in the public. I’ve been an A’s fan for a long time. A lot of people in my ownership group, our ownership group, feel the same way, [that San Francisco could always use another team.]”

If anyone cares to vote on the Hoopla for the banner change, you have a few days...

RoboticDreams was struck and killed by an 18 wheeler, while walking along a road late, last Saturday morning. :(

No. We should probably poor out a little liquor for Baker though.
What happened to Deep? He didn't migrate over. I'm assuming he enjoys not getting railed about his draft philosophy.

Just got news that my golden retriever has a tumor in her abdomen that is causing her left leg to swell up and have very little strength. She collapses after 20-30 seconds of walking and can't get up by herself, especially on wooden floors. The tumor is in a position that it is inoperable and will eventually push into the intestines and that will take her life. Right now, it appears to be little pain, but it will get bigger. It went from what we hoped was a sprain, to what we hoped was arthritis, to what we hoped was a tumor just in the leg, to this. I probably have a few weeks with her before she leaves, give or take a few. Other than family and Facebook, this community here is the biggest community I have to share these things. I'm glad it's not my daughters, but she is very close to me.

She passed away today with the whole family with her. Was taking the youngest for her nap, decided to all say good nap, hugged her, and she exhaled and she was gone. My 4-year old says she needs a camera to see us in Heaven. Big screen TV. Now I want the seasonal start to get some of the major sadness/focus away.

I feel you man. I've had several golden retrievers in my family through the years and they all died from cancer. So sad to say goodbye to a dog. Most goldens have it in their genes.
