Well it is wide open. Who would have expected my Hawks to be hosting the Eastern Conference Finals? Honestly not even being a homer, I think we are the best team in the NBA. We find ways to win, even when we don't play our best. We haven't played our best yet in the playoffs. And we beat Washington with Korver basically doing nothing, but still found a way to win in 6 games on Washington's homecourt. If we play our best this series against Cleveland and in the Finals, the Atlanta Hawks are World Champions. The team people keep doubting and saying, they'll eventually lose.

And no we aren't the Spurs of the East or none of that nonsense. We are the "Atlanta Hawks" ATL's Finest!

Our team reminds me of the Detroit Pistons that won that title that one year with Rasheed Wallace, Billups and company. They won with team basketball, and anybody on that team could be the leading scorer any given night, but they were very good.

Hawks beat Cleveland 4-2.

With Kyrie hobbled and the Cavs having problems with floor spacing at times, I like the Hawks chances as well.

U don't have that coach quality cause Bud is noone comparing to Larry Brown. I think u are delusional thinking Atl is better than GS. I don't think u have too much chance vs Cleveland unless Kyrie will be out. but only time will tell. Anyway good luck!

Still in-mourning for what could have been.

Heartbreaking loss. I was there and when Pierce hit what we thought was the game tying shot, the Phone Booth EXPLODED. I don't think I've ever heard a crowd that loud before in my life(besides when Pierce hit the winner in Game 3). It was insane.

This team is on the verge of something special I think, but still needs a piece or two. Wall and Beal are going to be legit stars and Porter will be a quality 3rd option(I think he'll be a better version of Ariza except maybe not quite as good a 3 point shooter).

We picked the worst possible time to have a bad game, but it was still a very close loss. We were neck and neck with a team that won 60 games. We can compete with anyone in the East next year.

Was a fun season. Thanks for the memories boys. Can't wait till next November. DC RISING!

I was watching with a group of friends. Everyone celebrated when the shot went in, I didn't and stayed still because I didn't think he got it off.

In the heat of the moment I was screaming my lungs out in celebration, but then as the refs started to review it I just got this sinking feeling o: "Here comes another epic DC sports loss."

It's pretty insane though, Pierce could have had three backbreaker/dagger 3s within 4 playoff games(and another where he missed a wide open one). But...just wasn't meant to be this year.

Sucks because I think if Wall doesn't break his hand we win the series in 5 or 6.

Same with me. I was watching with my sons. They both jumped up to celebrate. Wondered what was wrong with me. I just said, "The buzzer went off before it left his hands."

And, I hereby reiterate my objection to the use of replay in officiating.

I was at the game and everyone was screaming and high fiving for about 4-5 minutes before we realized it was being reviewed. Pretty sick moment, but game 5 was worse overall imo since that really decided the series.
