Trade the pick now. Don't even waste any time.

#6 + fillers = Lawson and Faried!

They can keep Lawson but I doubt the pick has that kind of value anyway.

In my head I'm thinking Denver realizes that Faried is not a Franchise guy based on the money he's being paid. I'm sure if they can acquire an expiring and a pick to get him off their hands at the expense of Lawson they'd do so. The tricky part as always is finding the right deal they'd accept.

I don't want Lawson or Faried. Lawson isn't a clear upgrade over DC and Faried is just an overpaid high energy big.

Probably getting closer. The Kings would be FOOLISH to trade that pick for Lawson but Faried might be worth it. I know he's not a perfect fit but he and Cuz know eachother and that's a pretty beastly front line. I think the Kings need some production at PF if they stay more traditional and Faried can produce without the ball. Not sure if it's wise to give up a shot at Winslow, Johnson, or Cauley-Stein for him though.

Collison, Cauley-Stien/Winslow, and cap space OR Lawson and Faried?

I think it depends on who you sign in FA. I'll say this, if Faired was a FA and the Kings signed him to that deal, I'd be pissed.

I'd rather have Collison than Lawson because of fit with our stars. The ball doesn't need to be sticking, he's a better defender and spaces the floor better for them.

Faried IMO is not a piece I'd be looking at on that extension. Doesn't really space and not a very good defender

I hope we just draft Cauley Stein and someone helps him develop an offensive game. I seem more upside in him than anyone else in the draft. He fits a need now and later (if he develops) and fits well next to Cousins in that he can guard our opponents best big. Big threat for the alley oop.

He and Miller would be fun to watch that's for sure. If we retain Williams, having Williams, WCS together would be a lot of fun to watch running.

I'm not worried about his offensive game, all he needs is to be able to spot shoot at 10-15 feet maybe 2-3 times a game tops, and develop a jump hook for 2-3 times a game. That's it, if he even needs to do it that often, just a threat.

The threat has to be real. As you get better teams will live with "someone else" beating you. I don't know if he "doesn't" have an offensive game or "wasn't asked" to have one. I see glimpses of it when he plays.

Something to keep in mind WCS is a Junior. His offensive game should be a bit farther along IF he was going to develop into a low post threat. WCS will be a face up big who hopefully develops a mid range game.

Oh he needs a ton of help offensively.

But running the floor is going to create problems, so is keeping him off the boards. He won't need much offensive game, hopefully it comes, but that's the red flag.

If he had it all he'd go number 1.

When you take into account what he is as a prospect and weight against what he is physically, him becoming a post threat is probably unlikely just from a physical standpoint alone. He's got more skill than you would think but yeah, him developing a jumper is going to determine whether he can get major minutes at PF or if he is a backup center/defensive specialist at best with the Kings.

Draymond Green was a senior and he's in his 3rd year in the league. He didn't even start shooting threes until he was a Jr in college. What you seen now doesn't start and end the player projection. People can evolve. I just don't think Cauley-Stein was asked to evolve at Kentucky. His role was to defend.
