Question about possible trade

Post#1 » by BRIGGS » Wed May 20, 2015 5:21 am

Would you guys do this

Knicks trade #4 Mudiay to Sacremento

Sacremento trades Mclemore and the 6th pick

Charlotte trades pick 9 and gets Mcclemore

Knicks get picks 6 and 9.

No.

Giving up BMac just to move up 2 positions is a no go. Mudiay isn't what Sacramento needs. If anything, the Kings either trade down or stay at #6. Guys like Winslow, WCS & Johnson are still pretty damn good prospects.

I wouldn't either. Top 3 and maybe but not for 4.

No thanks. Kings are looking pretty at 6.

I'd trade Cousins and Gay to LA for 2 and Randle. Lakers are always in win now mode, specially with Kobe winding down. Try and keep the 6th out of the trade, but would probably have to include it. So get LA's end of the 1st pick. If you can keep the 6th out of that trade I would definitely do it.

Towns/Okafor
Randle
Nik S. /Winslow (if you keep the 6th)
McLemore
Collison/ Draft a PG maybe T. Jones at the back end (if you get Lakers latter pick)

That would be an exciting fresh start if I were a Kings fan. But that's just me, probably none of you want to part with Cousins. But I've seen what Gay and Cousins can do and 6 isn't going produce anything franchise changing in a tough Western.

Ha! I wouldn't trade Cousins for the #1 pick. Okafor & Towns aspires to be on Cousins-level i.e. top-7 player/best C in the NBA. Why gamble on those players when you have a player that has already "made it"? Cousins is only 24 years old and is getting better and better.

Okafor's ceiling is a lot closer to guys like Monroe/Jefferson-level than a Tim Duncan or even a Pau Gasol. Towns, on the other hand, may have a shot to be one of the best bigs in the NBA. Horford-level, imo. Even still, Cousins > Horford

Randle doesn't interest me. Dude is injured for the entire year and is a co-center piece in a Cousins (& Rudy) deal? No way.

Hey you know you have like the most potent offensive big in the league, who is on a 3 year deal still, was an all star, is improving defensively to the point where he can anchor a defense well...Guy who put up two consecutive triple doubles at the end of the season, who is tough as hell..

Yeah why don't you trade him for a unknown and uncertain draft pick.

I wouldn't trade Cousins for #1 and Randle. Not worth the risk nor do i as a fan have the time to watch one of those guys try and reach the same neighborhood Cousins is already at. Starting from scratch is not appealing in any way, which is exactly what that trade would do to Sacramento. It would also put Gay as our #1 option ... All bad.

This post just makes me want to go off on your team and start a offensive post on your forum devaluing your best players. cousins is worth more on his own. The team needs better role players around its stars and we are in a position to do that this summer

Cousins is a potential top 5 player for a long time

Gay is a borderline all star

Thst is their values

1. Cousins has much more upside than anyone on the magic, who you should be concerned with
2. We had one of the best starting units statistically until the tail end of Corbin/Collisons injury, and need to improve around them
3. in this draft 6 is as close to 1 as pretty much any draft recently

Lol we suck. Be my guest devalue away. Just an idea for a fresh start. Cousins is good, but you aren't getting to the playoffs with Cousins and Gay in the Western Conference. Fact.

It amazes me that having a 24 year old all star who is maybe 4 years from his prime, equals "trade him for a fresh start" to many outsiders.

"fresh start"

Cousins needs some depends and jello shot meds at his whole 24 years.

You can at least spell SACRAMENTO correctly before making a unappealing trade thread.
