With the 4th pick in the NBA draft, the New York Knicks select...

Post#1 » by Thorn » Wed May 20, 2015 9:48 am

Now that reality has sunk in, and I did the whole drink until I was numb thing... we need to get an idea of where the board stands on who we feel is the best get at number 4.

I am assuming Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor, and D'Angelo Russell will all be gone by the time our pick rolls around.

BPA. Whatever or whomever that is. This strikes me as one of those drafts where we might even have a Darko Milicic moment.

Mudiay. He's not perfect but I'm intrigued by his athleticism and speed. He also fills a position of need.

I truly believe that okafor will still be on the board at 4. The wolves will take KAT. The Lakers will get Russell. The 76ers will get Mudiay.

Not necessarily, we can roll out the 2 PGs lineup since he's big enough to play SG.

Thanks for leaving Russell out of the poll. There's too many optimist thinking he's going to fall 4th.

I voted for Mudiay.

Give me either Mudiay or Winslow at #4, then trade back into the mid/late first round or early second round and draft G/F Michael Qualls from Arkansas.

The New York Knicks selects... some mediocre player than gets drafted right after a future superstar player.

History repeats over and over and over and over and over and over and over again for the Knicks.

I think the Sixers pick Mudiay. They traded their rookie-of-the-year PG last season for a reason. They like a PG in this draft better. Russell is more of a SG, so Mudiay is likely their target.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

its Mudiay unless his workouts terrify us or Winslows inspire us

I like WCS a lot but we need to take a guy like Mudiay over him. He can impact the team more for longer IMO

The defense in the backcourt with him and Galloway will be nice, the ball pushing and easy points will make up for any lack of shooting, and his overall aggressiveness will make him very popular Im sure

Show some freaking gratitude, this is our highest pick in 30 years, let's pull our bootstrap and get to work!!!!
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

This is our highest pick in 30 years only because we were the second worst team in the league, and we still got the worst end of the stick.

True, but at least they put themselves in a position to even get a top 4 pick. We could of went the dumb route of trying to compete with over price crap players, then end up being a non-playoff mediocre team that picks in the 8-9 range. U know like most of the time during the Isiah regime.

I don't get why everyone is forgetting that the 4th pick was our most likely destination with the 2nd worst record. With all the lottery talk on the boards, you would think guys would remember these basic facts. I don't get how anybody could expect a better result when math had us exactly where we are....

I have a feeling Mudiay will go #3, teams tend to go with the stronger, more explosive athlete. Russell or Mudiay.
