I don't think Bulls fans would cut the Knicks fans a fair deal by their way of thinking, but then again, I can't see how they'd trade Butler for Melo. Butler may have played a little over his head but he did it in the playoffs too and he's young and will be cheaper.

Mirotic and a lot of picks for Melo is fair. They obviously don't want to part with him but too bad. The East is weak. They load up on Rose, Melo and Gasol and make a run, and we get a young talent to pair with Mudiay. That's fair.

They can even keep Noah and give us Gibson, McDermott and maybe Dunleavy to make the salary work. Bulls had a crash & burn against a depleted Cavs team and are out of assets to make major changes (until the 2016 cap). Rose is a huge up and down guy with major injuries. They can load up and take their chances with Rose.

I'd be pretty mad if we took Derrick considering everything we've been through. Knicks don't need anybody's scraps anymore.

But Derrick Rose has shown he can stay Healthy for a WHOLE month(4/8 to 5/14) while also shooting below 40%. Rose's perception around the league has changed drastically

76ers can then get #3 D’Angelo Russell and #4 Justise Winslow They will still have Nerlens Noel and a lot of draft picks in the future to get another big man if they want to.

Knicks get a big 76ers get 2 top 5 picks (weren't they talking about trading Embiid in the past? What was all that about?)
What do you think is Embiid worth the risk, or should we play it safe and get a PG?

I like Monta, but he's a bad fit for many teams due to his size and he's a mismatch waiting to happen. I'd prefer to go with Green, pick up R. Lopez, and possibly Harris.

Our starters from this year is a decent bench for next year, we save money by not going for Max players this year and still compete, we still have our trade exceptions that we can use in any giving moment, and we can go after a max player next year while still being able to compete this year. Win Win.

this team would be a good balance of Defense, good spacing on offense, Harris would be Melo's Pippin and Green is like Fox, and our off-season woes and complaints can finally go away.

I think the bulls and knicks make perfect sense as trade partners. It is clear that both teams need to choose a direction to go in, whether it be win now mode, or play for the future.

I think the bulls and knicks should consider becoming trade partners if the knicks strike out on free agents.
One trade could be something like Rose + Gasol for Calderon + #4
If both teams wanted to go in a different direction... It could be melo to the bulls for picks/mcdermott. The bulls have #22, that sac pic, and of course future picks.

Any ideas that work for both teams? What do you think?

rose+gasol ---> old, injury-prone, high salary. especially we dont want to take that much salary this year.

j.butler+22th+gibson --> 4th pick+calderon+thjr

mudiay looks good prospect with bargain contract.

i like this roster.
i'm not sure about r.lopez or his backup smith rim defense but it looks fine we would make playoff with 4-6th seed. we should find h.whiteside type big man with good deal. maybe a.blatche? we can look for European Center's like a.tomic etc.

if we can trade calderon+thjr+4th pick for d.cousins then i would sign m.ellis.
