Dusty Baker, available to manage?

Post#1 » by North_of_Border » Mon May 25, 2015 7:36 pm

I read somewhere on Bleacher Report a few days ago, about this. It was an article about how AA and Gibbons too close. Gibbons will not be fired. If Jays fail, AA and Gibbons will go down together. However, Dusty Baker the big name manager who has no job is interested in the Blue Jays job if its available.

I think its time the Jays let Gibbons go. AA is fighting for his Jays career.ts time to let the personal relationships go. Better a managing change before making a knee jerk decision and trading prospects to upgrade a failing cause for Gibbons.

We don't need a new manager we need more pitching and players to stay healthy.

yeah let's hire one of the worst tactical managers of our generation, a guy who manages like it's 1915. that should solve the problem.

It's been a long time since a Blue Jays starter has thrown 130 pitches. Baker would change that in a hurry.

Overwork all the pitchers and put the two worst hitters at the #1 and #2 spots in the lineup. Yeah, that sounds like it'll solve out problems.

Well we might as well get some use out of this thread. In the event AA can's Gibby, who would be regarded as potential options? Would Hale become interim manager? The second return of Cito? lol
