Im hesitant to give up Randle. I think he can he be a 20 and 10 guy in this league some day.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Lowry didn't exactly impress under pressure in the first round

Man, Rashad Vaughn is very, very good. I've been tracking him for a while. He was hanging out in the middle of the second round on many mocks for months now ...
... and I never, ever understood it.

Because he's an inefficient chucker who doesn't do anything else on the court.

yeah, i cant remember the last time a PF avg 5.5 ast lol
3.5 seems realistic given his good passing ability

Blake Griffin was at 5.3 this year, but that's definitely optimistic for Randle.

kid does have game but he's probably gonna need to be retaught in the league. as stated below.

might be looking at Swaggy 2.0 if he can't be reeled in.

would you do Randle, Jordan Hill and your two late picks for Lowry and one of Toronto's wings (Daniels or James Johnson).[/quote]

Other than scoring, Rashad Vaughn's game is nothing like Nick Young's.
In fact, just like the gap between Kawhi Leonard and DeMarre Carroll, the differences between Rashad Vaughn and D'Angelo Russell are not as significant as one might think at first, cursory glance.
Obviously, Russell's passing is on an entirely different level than Vaughn's, but practically everything else about Vaughn's game is on par with Russell's.
Their both remarkable freshman, both shoot it lights out, both score at an elite level, both have all around games, both handle the ball well, both facilitate.
One is the better passer (although Vaughn is nothing to sneeze at), one seems to be the more versatile defender with a much better ability to finish at the rim.

I'd like to find out what we actually have in Randle before including him in Any deal.
If more people thought like I do, the world would be a much better place.

Looney grew up rooting for the Bucks, while he admired the Lakers from afar because of Kobe Bryant.
Yet, that did not stop Looney from providing the Lakers’ star with some bulletin board material for the 2015-16 season.
“It would be an amazing experience to play against him,” Looney said, before joking, “Hopefully I get to talk some trash to him and tell him I’m taking his spot.” http://www.presstelegram.com/sports/201 ... er-climate

I'm looking at the draft and I'm wondering if OKC even needs their lottery pick. The team is absolutely loaded with bigs, they're solid on the wings and have tons of youth to go along with their superstars. I wonder if we could move Kelly, Nick Young, and the 27th pick and our 2nd rounder for their lottery pick.

Nobody is going to touch those two. You're going to have to give someone a pick for taking Young's contract. Kelly is just flat out terrible. I don't see why OKC would want 4 so-so fringe NBA players, instead of one sure fire lottery prospect. There's usually a huge drop off in talent after the 16th pick.

The Randle trade talk is absolutely crazy. I'm not even that high on Randle, but it would be foolish to go around trading our young studs on rookie contracts for injury prone guards. We're in this mess because we didn't focus enough on youth.
Unless someone like Cousins, or Westbrook is available, we're keeping Randle.

More and more mocks I see are getting the feeling Flip likes Okafor. Makes me realize I'd rather Okafor because I feel that upside is more often than not overrated, but makes me also realized we are stoked either way if the consolation prize is Towns, who would have been my candidate through most of the year.
Okafor to go #1?

I want ok4 over towns, upside is nice but I feel ok4 will be ready sooner. Took us 3-4yrs to finally get Bynum on track I don't wanna wait that long

Thank you, now I hope guys come to understand that. We glossed over attaining youth for so long that we grew old, didn't have assets because of it. You have to draft guys, develop them ,then if something comes up down the road and you have a stud waiting to break free now we're talking.Frank Dux wrote:Wavy Q wrote:Lowry is far too injury prone to make me want to even consider trading Randle for him
