She decided not to cross one low water crossing that had a few inches of water flowing over it and went around.

I thought she was being a little silly at the time, but I'm so glad she didn't go through. It's a lesson to me too.

People described a 20' wall of water coming through town.

Just checked pictures of Wimberley and that looks like even McMansions were washed out in one go.

Gained a slight bit of schadenfreude by a seeing BMW M series outside my place flooded and covered in tarps.

Picture 9 is one of the bridges my wife had to cross... I think about 2 hours before that happened if I have the timeline right.

Like you said though, on the bright side, Rockets fans were stranded for a while after the game. Maybe Inquisitive was there.

Finally got around to watching Aziz Ansari at MSG. The dude really needs some good material, I like him but the only time I laughed loud was when he got that lady's cell phone and started reading text messages from her date. Most of the material he did were repeated from all his talk show appearances prior to that.

I finally watched the avengers movie over the labor day weekend. In my opinion it was definitely better than the first one.

Looks like they're finally bringing the hammer on FIFAs corruption.

To the chicks at the gym that walk to the front to do lay down pelvic thrusts in front of the giant window...

Its definitely not as funny as his old stuff but i just found all the stuff about dating/cell phones eerily accurate and his delivery as always makes it for me. i thought the ja rule bit kinda sucked tho. i dont watch his talk show appearances so i cant speak on that, but i can definitely understand that it wasnt laugh out loud funny.

Agreed with everything you said. I was rolling when he started reading the text messages, sounded kinda staged but hilarious none the less.

I'm drunk at work and kind of need to bike 3.5 miles to get home, this is going to be fun or NOT.
