Going bold here: Mario Hezonja.

Winslow is sliding, and I don't like Mudiay or Okafor that much. Looks like the beta version of Al Jefferson is probably going to win this one though.

I voted for Okafor. I'm not a big fan of him (yet) due to his lackadaisical approach to defense and his average athleticism, but he has the size and skill he needs to become an impact starter in this league if he commits himself to playing defense. His ability to isolate and score at a high percentage in the post will be a major advantage when games are tight and the pace slows, but to make the most of that he can't be a liability on defense. If he can do that he has the ability to be the best player in this draft class when everything is said and done.

Okafor gained favor with me over the last day or so. I probably wouldn't have voted him here two days ago.

I don't like the fact he's basically Big Al. I wish he was better on defense. If he gets in the right spots then that's a plus. I worry that he couldn't even finish games in college.

But what has grown in favor is that he handles the ball well and is a good passer. I can't remember what article it was, but it was about the new wave of post ups and how going quick in the post and making the correct passes will free a lot of things on the perimeter. It still allows for pace and space. I think Okafor can be elite at both of those things.

He just has to be good on defense. It's so hard to find a rim protector and an outside shooter at the 4 in the same body which he will need if he can't become a viable rim defender. The pace and space goes to hell if you can only get defender to pair with him or you allow 110 a game if you just find a spacer.

I went with Okafor, he has some big holes in his game like defense and FT shooting but if he can be last season Al I wouldn't mind his shortcomings much.

next one is going to be interesting i think.

I went Mudiay because I think he is the second most talented player in this draft behind Russell.
