He is excelling in starter minutes in the finals. Should Delly start with Kyrie for the Cavs next season?

Hell no, I mean if we don't have anyone better sure, but we're in hella trouble if we don't have anyone better to play the 2.

He should play A LOT more next season though. Kyrie is too fragile to play the minutes he did this season.

100% agreed. No one is gameplanning for him and he's capitalizing. Scrappy guy who gives his all, but let's not get carried away here.

Don't understand why anyone want down playing him either. He definitely is one of the best defenders right now. Matter of fact, the best defender for MVP curry. It's arguable if Irving could be as effective.

Without Dell, we won't even be talking much about the series .( one sided series)

You say that without any proof. Fact is, Curry has never been one to outplay Irving significantly when they played head to head.

Delly seems to relish playing physical defense, but lets not forget that block Kyrie laid on Curry at the end of game one, could very well have been a game saver. It seemed his effort in game one was possibly his best overall game in his career.

The guy can play but he's proving to be a good championship team backup pg. If anyone thinks he's a superstar is really overrating him. This is where he should stay as the backup.

He does deserve credit tho.

14.5ppg in starts 9.7 overall isn't bad while holding good to great PG ' S to about 29%. He really has stepped up.

Dellavedova has really stepped up and his play in the Finals is inspiring, but this type of all-out hustle play just isn't sustainable over an 82 game season. The man literally played so hard he wound up in a hospital following the game. You can't be doing that over the course of a long NBA season. Delly is a great backup PG but is not skilled enough to be a starter on a contending team.
