If he drafts Muiday its because he thinks its BPA, not because hes psycho on mission smh. He dumped MCW because he got great value for him and didn't think MCW would improve his jumpshot and was already 23 which is kind of old for sophomore. Funny thing is 76ers got better when MCW was traded, Ish Smith played much better than MCW.

This is the Knick's board. I don't care to debate with a Raptor's fan about what the Sixer's are doing. What the heck? You're not even a Sixers fan, and trying to explain Sam Hinkie's thinking to me. Would you like me to show you the door?

Yes I'm Raps fan but I follow other teams as well, 76ers are one of them. Just trying to have regular discussion, didnt know you were sensitive mb

The more I think about it the more I see us drafting pro zings Think about it everything Phil have done came out of the blue know one knew or seen it coming. Every pick have been linked to us except him. Plus we need big with upside who block shots play 20 mins a piece to the puzzle etc. These are all comments made about our pick. He seems to fit them all not to mention fit the system

Gadzuric was one of the most athletic big guys in the last 20 years for 7 feet. Obviously from watching the tape you can see he gets up just as well as stein or better. This is Stein.

Yeah...I watched the videos (and actually just watched other videos of Gadzuric trying to find out where the comparison is coming from) and I still don't see it. I still think Stein is more athletic.

I remember watching Gadzuric plenty back when he was at UCLA. He's not WCS. WCS is more athletic. He's longer. He's MUCH more rangy defensively. And he's more fluid and athlete. And while WCS can be a space cadet at times, Gadzuric was referred to as the Great Gazoo (the green spaceman in the Flinstones cartoon) for a reason. A lot of times Gadzuric would stand out there looking lost, not knowing what the play is. WCS appears to be a bit sharper.

Macrus Camby was a dominant college player

Wilie Stein's a guy who loses focus and gets pushed around by smaller players.

In over 110 CBB games WCS has scored 20 points 2 times.

Marcus Camby AVERAGED over 20 points as a junior.

Hes the same guy who had 2 points and 5 rebounds in the final of 1-4 shooting.

He was guarded by Nigel Hayes who is 6-5 and like the game before Nigel did a good job abusing WCS pretty good like Pat Connughton did the game before

Worse in 110 games WCS had double digit rebounding games 22 times
Julius Randle in his lone season had 27 games of double digit rebounding

Please don't waste the biggest draft pick in recent memory on Cauley Stein. Just don't. Pick Mudiay and be done with it. I don't see the benefit of Cauley stein unless we're getting Aldridge or a guy that can actually help Melo offensively. I know we need defense but you gotta pick the best player available and he definitely is not.
Make the Knicks great again!

Justise Winslow.....nuff said

Tyreke is a combo guard while Mudiay is a pure PG who has better handles and vision. Mudiay is more Wall than Tyreke and you see how Wall turned out for the Wizards.

My hope remains we use the #4 assets to trade down in a three way with Boston and someone from the 7-11 positions where we can pick up Kaminsky Mickey Fuzaro and one of Richarson or Connughton(for example 9 -28-32-45)

I'm still a big believer in a multi asset trade for the pick. The thesis remains the same-- I believe Kaminsky is going to be a version of Dirk. I'm sour on every pick as made last year and I especially do not want the offensively raw Thansis back. Every other player I listed has elite size athleticsm and two way skills with an emphasis on perimeter defense.

In free agency I'm willing to max out Monroe give 26 mm for 4 years to Koufus 2 years for 4 mm to Cole and give the full team make to Scvheyd. There is no doubt we should waive and stretch Calderon. I'd like to give more time to Hardaway Galloway and see if my rookies can earn time. In the meantime I'll be patient see what shakes out with team potentially waiving players potentially pickup a Deron Williams for a year or two if he's waived-- maybe a Jeremy Lamb on a tpe for examples.

ROSTER

C-Monroe(4 years 64mm)

F-Mickey(pick 28)

F Melo

G Galloway

Pg Deron Williams ( waived and signed 1 year 5mm)

C Koufus 4 years 26mm

F Kaminsky (pick 9)

G Fuzaro ( pick 32)

G Hardaway

G Scvheyd( mle)

C Cole A 2 yrs 4mm

J Eddie

C Early

Josh Richardson or Pat Connughton pick 45

Shane Larkin

Finally I'd like to pick yoUrself Eddie from the d league

This would make our roster younger more athletic more diverse and set for a good period of time. It would also give us premium assets to trade down the line with our void of picks.

This is not a one year process. Add a couple of good assets in free agency be opportunistic draft smart with a plan and utilize the d league

I would love for the NYK to get Russell but if not then it's WCS. Do Knick fans have the patience to let a young PG devlop in to an eventual beast? I'm pretty sure 100% of NY wanted Steph Curry but I could bet he would have been tossed to the side after trouble with his glass ankles. The Knicks need a smart, aggressive, clutch player that is willing to learn and take their spot on the team seriously.

Are y'all more likely to make a pick at #4 or trade it? I'd take Mudiay, maybe Winslow, but Philly Jax might have some other creative thing in mind, like getting rid of Calderon to gain more cap space while picking up an asset or two...

Jackson would be an idiot to trade the #4 overall pick to move Calderon's contract. He already made that bed, no reason to try to change that now.

I have really come around on Kaminsky. Would not mind a trade down scenario where NY brings in more quality assets.

Not trying to be inflammatory or silly but I wonder if the African factor will play into Mudiay being Philly's target over Russell.
They have a lot invested in Embiid succeeding. They even went as far as to add salary in a trade for Luc Richad Mboute (I butchered it, didn't I?) to ensure Joel a more seamless transition. Could that push them closer to Mudiay?

Justise Winslow received strong feedback from the New York Knicks following his workout Monday at the team's training facility, according to sources familiar with the proceedings. League sources familiar with the team's thinking said after the workout that Winslow is "definitely in play" for the Knicks, who will select fourth in the NBA draft on June 25. The sources said the Knicks provided "positive feedback" to Winslow after he put forth a strong performance in the workout. ESPN.com
