I hate that **** gesture. Now the whole team seems to be doing it. Go ahead and do that gesture when you're 5 games in front not struggling to avoid becoming the worst team in the A.L. This team has accomplished jack squat but have this arrogance everytime someone gets a key hit. If they stopped acting like a little league team then maybe they wouldn't play like one. Reminds me of the 2013 season where we 10 games out but everytime someone hit a HR (no matter how insignificant) the team acted like they just won a playoff game.

No wonder this team is so bad, that's the gesture James Harden used to get himself cursed by TheBasedGod.

Actually, let me backtrack a bit. Expecting was the wrong word. Hoping for is right. Since we are Jays fans, we should be expecting the worst rotation in franchise history because this is the Jays and we can't have nice things.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

The Jays are slightly behind the Dodgers for the highest fWAR among everyday players, but are dead last among pitchers.

The pitching has been reasonable for about two weeks now, and during that time we went from seven under to six under. It is am improvement, but really its like we are still underwater but not sinking deeper and not getting closer to the surface.

During the past two weeks, there were multiple games lost due to poor defense and just wasted opportunities.

Going forward this team won't improve unless they continue their hitting and recent run of decent pitching, but also to stop the stupid plays and crappy defense, and better situational hitting.

But seriously, I don't know if this team will improve upon that last point.
