Mason Plumlee?

Reading that Nets might make him available. If I were the clippers I would trade for him. He would make the bench more stable.

It would seem the Miles Plumlee would be available at a price the Clippers might be able to pay.

Pure production wise, Plumlee last season was better than Hawes best season in the NBA, and Plumlee isn't a poor defender.

No way Nets do that trade first of all, not like they can anyways as the contracts don't match.

The Nets are trying to trade Plumlee if it allows them to get rid of the contracts of either Joe Johnson or Deron Williams, so the Clippers really aren't in the play for any trade here.

We dont have the assets or the ability to take on a large contract to get him.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Exactly.

Is there any chance of a Joe Johnson trade to a team that waives him? Or even Stephenson being waived by a team? (Assuming CHA still want him gone).

I dont see any reason for Charlotte, or another team, to waive Lance. He has a team option for next summer. Also, dont see why any team would waiver Joe Johnson in order to take on Plumlee.

I just thought a big 3 of Johnson, Williams and Lopez would not be good enough and surely Nets FO would consider dumping Johnson since he has a lucrative contract, preventing them from improving their roster.

a more reasonable FO would agree with you but the nets' GM is billy king lol. look at what he did in the short time since he was there.

they completely destroyed their future to created a severely flawed team filled with aging players. king doesn't know what he's doing and that team is in win now mode with a team that's impossible to win with. nothing has changed for them.

If they waive Johnson they still have his contract on their cap, so they wouldn't be able to improve and would be paying Joe to not be on the team
