Did Buehrle just throw a Maddux? CG shutout, under 100 pitches

Who would've thought we'd get two of three here? I certainly wasn't expecting this.

Oh well, I'll get started on the next thread, looking forward to the 2-1 loss next game.

I was at the game tonight. What a performance! Wrapped up in a tidy 2 hours and 10 minutes, now that's my kind of game. Buehrle is the ultimate concessions killer. Everybody had one less beer than they intended. It makes no sense how he's so effective. Tops out at 84, and consistently baffled hitters with some kinda 80mph pitch, I couldn't even tell what it was. Felt like he rarely threw the slow looping curveball tonight, he didn't need it. Think the Nats made solid contact about 4 times tonight, and only Harper's landed for a double

When did he learn how to hit MLB pitching? I must have missed it... he is a 4th OF, at best
