Two athletic good defenders, not high ceiling but both can be good to great role players in this league. Anderson is very athletic, strong, developing 3s and Tokoto is also athletic, can handle and create for others and share some ball handling duties with future PG(Hopefully an improved Jordan Clarkson can fill that role).

well if the Chi/LaL deal can go through we could get Anderson at 22 with Chi pick (he is projected there on draftexpress). For Tokoto I see him in mid-late 2nd which we could buy a pick to get.

I hope that deal goes through, I would scream in the middle of the night when I'm watching the draft(I live in Turkey so it would be 4-5AM in here I guess). I don't know about the buying early 2nd rounder part because he is projected around 35-40 and I don't know which team would sell us their pick. By the way do you guys have any 2nd rounders you prefer for us to get.

some mocks had Cedis Osman for us at 34th. I'd draft him and keep him in Europe for a few more years.

Well yeah if we keep the 34th why not, but I don't think Lakers would buy a 2nd rounder for him especially an early one.

27

-20.00 Overall FG% Against
-0.45 Points Against per Shot
-46.49 Contest+ Rate
-.035 Fouls per Shot defended
-.055 TO Forced per Chance
-2.58 Deflections per 100 Chances
-0.79 Passes Denied per 100 Chances
-11.51 Assist+ per 100 Chances
-2.94 TO per 100 Touches
-3.74 Assist+ to TO rate
-1.45 Points Per Shot

Delon Wright screams Gary Payton like on that defensive end ... He really strikes me as an acceptable get if we dont get Anderson or RHJ .... Getting him woulde be solid as ****

I really hope we don't trade our 2nd/27th pick for the 1st pick. That would be seriously dumb on Mitch and Jim's part.

If it assures getting Towns, I'd do it 10/10 times.

what's the difference in salary between the first and second pick? May be why Minni would want the move.

Wiggin-$5,510,640
Parker-$4,930,560

that's their rookie salary, not a big difference.

Yeah, the whole thing doesn't make sense to me... There'd be no 'shame' picking Okafor first if that's who they covet.
It's just a fishing expedition on their part. Which is what they're supposed to do. Moving up would help us out, but not sure the price would be worth it. The Sixers would probably love to be 1st though so they are assured nobody takes Russel... But then they'd probably panic and draft another big anyway.

I wouldn't do it until draft night, you never know if someone we really like drops to #27.

Muiday, sign a big, and sign a wing ... That's the real lakers way

The asset way is draft one of these bigs, be ready to flip them for Russ or KD, and roll

I would assume it's coming from Chad Ford, who as usual knows nothing.

Saw a mock somewhere that had Anderson going to us @ 27th.....that would be great imo then just do a euro stash with 34th (cedi osman) if mitch isn't looking to add 3 rookies.

I won't shed a single tear; then again, Terry Rozier might be available at #27 and could be something special.

Making that deal might not even be necessary if Saunders is serious about either Mudiay, Okafor, or Russell with the #1.

Fingers crossed. I'll die if he takes Okafor and leaves Towns on the board for LA.

I kind of expected him to go anywhere from Sacramento's pick but it would make little sense for us unless there is a trade situation.

Well we're less than 20 days from the draft, what are your guys' top 3 for each of our picks? I've got:

#2
1. Russell
2. Towns
3. Okafor

#27
1. Hollis-Jefferson (pipe probably)
2. Anderson
3. Wright

#34

1. Luwawu
2. De Paula (Lucas)
3. Upshaw
