Manny's going to be flying up draft boards. I love his defensive aptitude

If Phil pulled that off, I would put a put a paper bag over my head, paste a picture of Jeannie on it, poke a hole through the mouth, and give Phil the best BJ he's ever had in his entire life.[/quote]

How can you fly up from 4 to 2 or whatever? Seems like a short leap.

But...but...he's from Brooklyn!

I can only hope all three teams pass on Towns or Okafor so the Knicks can get a big man.

Saving money on big men is crucial in cap management.

It's interesting how ESPN brags that it's a point guard league. Not the first era to say it. Francis, Marbury, Iverson were supposed to herald that era. Didn't really go that way. Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, John Wall...not feeling it but Curry looks poised.

Towns & OK4R will not be available at the #4 pick just because everyone is conscious of the Knicks needs and I believe they take that into consideration (no matter how much) whenever we are a factor in anything regarding basketball. Don't believe it, just ask yourself when was the last time someone did us a favor on a trade............into can't remember any time that has occurred.

Mudiay working out with an all time Maker great and Marbury basically wishing him luck. I see nothing but that.

Really grasping for straws with these stories lately.

Laker fan here

To be honest it is the Laker way to draft the small. Kobe, Fisher, West, Goodrich, Coop, Magic, Worthy, Nick and Eddie were drafted. LA always buys the big who has proven he can play, stay healthy, and so on. They bought Lamar, PAu, Shaq, Kareem, and Wilt. Bynum was an exception in a weak draft, but normally they always grow and nurture a small then go for a big, and there are plenty of big free agents this summers.

Wish NY and LA luck both way. Want to see Melo do well and Kobe go out well

I'd be ecstatic if the Lakers took him. Means we get a big man, same scenario with the T'Wolves.

The good thing about getting OKA4 is there's no way we sign Monroe after that pick

Okafor looks like basically Monroe on a much better contract.

Why does this matter?

Mudiay doesn't get to pick where he goes he plays where he is drafted and let's say the Lakers do draft Mudiay then the Sixers take Russell which means we get Okafor.

Win win.

Kind of expected. It always happen. Interest in a player always starts with the Knicks then there's a snowball effect.

Seriously wouldn't be surprised if he went first.

It's probably cuz Knicks use triangle, whereas Scott seems to rely way more on the point. But as I've pointed out in the past I can see Mudiay sliding right into the role Shved was playing and I can see him thriving eventually.

It wouldn't surprise me BUT....

There's ALWAYS a team that takes Darko over Melo....

Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan...

Greg Oden over Kevin Durant...and in the SAME draft, Yi Jianlian OVER J. Noah.

I mean, the list goes on and on...

So I think the Knicks are in a GREAT place to add a solid player in any capacity.
