That would mean max vertical jump of ... 32.5'' if I'm not mistaken.

The only thing I don't like about Rudy is his #liberaluseofhashtags.

Nice, that's a 3.5" improvement.

Gobert measured 12'0" at the combine
Favors measured a 12'1.5" at the combine

That's a nice set of rim protectors.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

That's a great news guys, Rudy is more Athletic version of Tyson Chandler and better defensively that's the greatest thing about him

Deke with softer hands is his ceiling. That's the definition of a superstar and the best center in the NBA. We will never see a hack a Gobert play. The 2013 draft no less.

The guy is a freak,if he was available to draft everyone would be drooling over this guy, luckily he's ours.

Just for reference, Dwight Howard has a 12'6" jumpinh reach, so that's not much higher! Shaq was 12'5". I imagine Wilt was probably a little higher, wouldn't be shocked if he was 13' or higher since he was a track athlete in college too. Regardless, it's in a class of their own. Can't think of many other guys that can be in this territory. Maybe a young David Robinson since he was athletic as a hell and 7ft tall, or KG. Still great to have. :-)

Standing max reach is more important IMO. Defense requires standing, jumping for boards at max vert reach involves ridiculous timing and is unrealistic.

Rudy Gobert is in a class of his own for standing reach, only 4 guys have had a higher reach at the draft combine and none have had the athleticism and skill.

I got to take advantage of a cool opportunity this weekend, due to the awesomeness that is twitter letting the everyday fan get a chance to interact with their favorite player. This opportunity was getting recruited by Rudy Gobert to join his fresh clan on the mobile game Clash of Clans.

I'm always going to block out the clan name on here to keep the place from getting flooded from fans as well as it being Rudy's request.

But what I will show you what our very own Stifle Tower's warbase looks like (and yes, he has chosen the handle icerud!):

Here's a quick breakdown for those who aren't familiar with the game:

He is an early Town hall level 9 (out of 10) with the obligatory french flag near the top corner but also with sufficiently upgraded defenses with level 7 walls.

Also due to his persuasive recruiting abilities, he was able to put together a bunch of heavy hitters such that he is ranked 19th out of 20 in the current clan war.

In our first war we tied 29 to 29 against an asian clan with a whopping 107 war wins. Not a terrible way to start off.

Rudy appears to like to use the mass dragon attacks with some hogs mixed in.

We also refer to any scrubs in our clans or whenever somebody messes up an attack as a "Kanter"

If there are enough people who care about this, I will post another more in-depth article regarding Rudy Gobert's clan and my experiences in it.

Gobert could do a half jump and and reach uo 11-0,,,,making the easy fast block.

Gobert is future DPOY.....holding opponents to 41% is awesome.

It's the mobility that makes these guys elite. Jordan, Davis, Gobert, Cousins(if he wanted to), these dudes combine their length with the ability to recover quickly. The days of the plodder are coming to an end unless somebody figures out how to make zone work with the NBA 3pt line.

Wrote a fun, small article that includes Gobert and Exum in it. Nothing new information wise for you guys with it but thought you may enjoy it for a quick read. Hope this is okay since it's my own website / not making money from it or anything.
