Looks like a slow methodical release. No biggie though, the shot reminds me of early Mail and Duncan and both those guys perfected their midrange in the early years to incredible success.

I'm amazed at all the outside jumpers he was making. Hell, I think he knocked down more than Mudiay and Russell combined!
If more people thought like I do, the world would be a much better place.

I don't see the problem with him not having a mid range game. We're bringing him for his post up game. As long as he can develop a decent shot here and there to keep the defense honest it shouldn't be a problem. I would worry more about his Ft shooting.

Disappointed that Trudell didn't ask Okafor what he ate last night .

I actually didn't like Okafor when the season started. But now I'm convinced that we would be ok with him at 2nd pick. I actually started wanting him. Okafor-Randle can be a more dynamic Gasol-Randolph. Hopefully they can improve defensively too.

Wait, you read that post as "worry", as a negative?
It was a post of "hope", as a positive.
A linkage to greatness.

The FO seems to really like him, if we trade up he might be one of our targets similar to Payton last year. Came to work out with us even though we basically have no chance of drafting him with our later picks and won't consider him at #2.

That interview was brutal... Never seen a court-side interview last that long in the NBA. Clearly a test and he handled it well.

Kupchak met with the media yesterday and answered a few questions:

http://www.nba.com/lakers/news/150609_kupchakworkouts

On the potential No. 2 overall draft picks:

Kupchak: We’ve had three of the so-called top four players (work out), and there could be more. But the ones that you know about are three, and they’re all different and exceptional in their own way. Two of the players we’ve had in so far — Emmanuel Mudiay and D’Angelo Russell — obviously are guards. One (Russell) played at a high level in college at Ohio State, and the other didn’t play much this year. (Mudiay) played in China in limited minutes.

Of course, the player that we had in today (Jahlil Okafor) won a national championship at 6-foot-11, and he’s a different position. I thought all of them played really hard and played to their strengths. (They have) varying degrees of experience and, of course different positions.

Well Odom needs to be more concerned about getting off the glass pipe before helping anyone stay together.

If Lamar was straight, I would bring him in too

That is whatyou call a Damn Good idea. (Meaning, they'll never do it, but still....)

Elton Brand is still in the league, I would think a motivate Odom could at least play that Brand type role, a night here and there and just keep everyone together.

 Awesome. I'm glad to hear. No way you can have him in your backyard all year and not bring him in.
