Regardless, referees are terrible. Easily the worst part of NBA basketball. I hope for a day where they're all replaced by high tech motion sensing cameras.

I'm just picturing a player trying to argue with the cameras.
I'm imagining it's Sheed.

If the refs consider it to be "incidental contact" ... yes, it does.

Player Sheed fouled takes the free throw and misses.

25 people voted no? Seriously.....
Doesn't matter if he got a piece of the ball if his tackle prevented or obstructed Curry from regaining posession. This was a terrible game changing call just like the Delly double dribble out of control And1.

a) Curry crosses Delly over and changes direction
b) Lebron, going 100 as he sees an exposed ball puts on the brakes, but ends up sliding and tripping
c) Lebron deflects the ball off Curry first... no team has possession at this point
d) Lebron's upper thigh makes contact with Curry around the knee area and brings both down
call could have gone either way... but seems like the refs saw it as incidental contact. it's not nearly as blatant as what some people are claiming.
This. Also not only does Curry slap Lebron's face into the court, he gets to knee him in the groin too!

Why is dislodging the ball before a tackle not a foul? Lol
Lebron has hit Kobe no calls territory (for and against) good to see

Am I the only one who thinks that the Cavs get all the calls in the first 3 quarters and then the Warriors get all the calls in the 4th? It seems to have been officiated this way all 3 games.

Are you actually complaining about this?? He hustled back, and got all ball first. Then your just gonna argue it one side right? Steph Curry didnt punch Lebron in the face after on purpose? Delly on the ground didnt get Anal*d by all the warriors players? GSW lost two games now even when the refs were on their side.

please, it doesnt matter if you hit the ball first, you cant knock someone to the floor
Of course it matters. That's why it wasn't called. Just like that when you fall on somebody while diving for a lose ball, it's not called. Anybody who says otherwise hasn't watched the NBA.
Alright. GSW should just platoon slide tackle Lebron's knees from here on out. Just make sure to try and touch the ball at some point on your path there as a human missile.
We need more great hustle plays.

It was a foul. They missed the call. It's not the only call they missed this series on both sides.

Based on the angle in the OP, it's absolutely a foul. Based on this angle, still a foul by the letter of the law but they let that level of contact go all series long. Lebron looks like he slid in front of Curry and then Curry moved on top of Lebron in his attempt to recover the ball. Camera angles are funny things.

The point now is that at least 15 people here are saying it's not a foul. These people shouldn't be trusted with their opinion on basketball.
The scary thing is, 3 of these people are reffing an NBA finals game. And another two are announcing it.

More calls in last night's game favored a Cavs win. That foul when Curry was knocked down was a crucial point in the game where the Warriors were making a comeback. Massive momentum change. Any other player in the league takes out Curry like that, it's a foul.
Name one other call that went the Warriors way that was as crucial to the game. And I won't even get into the Klay Thompson out of bounds play when they would have had possession only down 3.
QFT. The one call that could have gone our way was the out of bounds Klay-Delly one but it was reversed correctly albeit not legally by the rules. Cavs got multiple bad crunchtime calks in their favor. Besides the LeBron tackle, there was the Delly double dribble 3 point play, Curry denied 4 point play and I believe LeBron fouled Green on rebound.
Also, Shumpert charge was correct as he ran over Steph when he was in a legal position. Hardly a flop. Anyone crying over Warriors moving screens can shut it because Mosgov and TT are just as bad if not worse.
Now, Cavs fans will rationalize based on Iggy's foul in Game 2 crunch time but LeBron's travel prior to that makes it a wash. Green got away with some stuff on jump balls but none were as egregious as Game 3 calls in the last 2 minutes.

Maybe in Games 1 and 2 but 3 was all Cavs other than here and there in our favor. Although, Cavs fans think we are getting everything and more.

So you think the refs are part of the problem that Warriors are down 1-2? Game 2 had far more bad calls against the Cavs down the stretch, and the Cavs overcame it.

It also had 3 quarters of Cavs favored calls. I was there. Also, other than the Iggy foul after LeBron traveled and the Green jump ball call, I don't remember that many consecutive bad calls like Game 3.
