id LOVE to get one of the 2 bigs + one of the 2 pg/sg's

Put in on the Trade Board and take cover. They hate LA trades there.

Randle would go #3-4 this draft, Clarkson is All Rookie 1st team, and you're going to add in another 1st rounder?

considering randle's injury and his tweener status, i think this would work for us

high-mid lottery talent (randle) low lottery talent (clarkson) + 27th for a super high ceiling player in russel or mudiay sounds great to me

"Tweener" isn't an insult anymore, it's a positive. Versatile forwards who can play and defend multiple positions are in high demand (eg: Draymond Green). Randle's talent is on par with Russell/Mudiay.

We were lucky to get Randle last year at 7... It was a deep draft and his injury helped us get him. Clarkson is a rare talent that is thriving on his motor... Which is one of the hardest things to find in a Draft Prospect... Lack of desire and energy is the single biggest reason guys bust in the NBA... Clarkson has proven that he's not going that way... And from everything we've seen from Randle, he has that same desire/passion/commitment.

So to use your analogy... Don't sell $.75 for a quarter, to get a dollar.

the way i see it, clarkson's ceiling is a very good started quality player...randle's is blake griffen light...both of which are fringe all-star's at best

What worries me most is randels injury issues

The top 4 this year have superstar potential which is greater than both combined imo....therefore 4 quarters lol

i guess we are basically disagreeing on randle's value

you guys making it sound as Mudiay or Russell is a sure fire thing to be stars-superstars too and not giving Clarkson/Randle short end of the stick

1. Sixers won't accept that
2. Randle is not a **** tweener.

Considering its doubtful that both Randle and Clarkson will be on this team if we ever do become a contender there's no reason to get attached. If Sixers were stupid enough to make this trade you do it everytime. The opportunity to pair Towns/Okafor with Russell is too great to pass up. You're essentially getting two shots at landing a superstar. And no matter what anyone says this is a superstar driven league period.

Because it's a sure thing that Towns/Russel will be much better than Towns/Randle/Clarkson... An OBVIOUS sure thing... 100 out of 100 times.

I'm kind of intrigued by the Payne work out. It was kind of under the radar and Okafors workout outshined the coverage on Payne's workout. I honestly think the Lakers are going to try obtain another lottery pick in the draft. There's no reason why they would give Payne a solo workout while many others that were projected to go mid-late first had group workouts. I have a feeling the Lakers will trade Clarkson while his stock his high. Which is similar to when George Hill had high value when he played for the Spurs and was then traded for a late lottery pick which turned out to be Kawhi. I believe the Lakers want to trade Clarkson because he is 4 years older than Jahlil and Randle. I think the Lakers want to have young core that's closer in age. Also because Clarkson is a restricted free agent after this coming season. He will get a bigger contract especially when the cap rises. So I think the Lakers would want a player with potential under the current rookie contract?somethings got to give. I think the lakers will eventually package Clarkson and 34 or 27 for a pick ranging from 11-20? Would any team do that trade?

I'm impressed to see Delon Wright in the top 10 in most of those models, I've seen several mocks that have him going to us at 27th. Would be awesome to have two 6 5" ball handling guards that could probably play off each other as wright seems to be more of a passing type guard.

Passing and defense, a great counterpart to Jordan Clarkson.

I would hate to see Phili do that as it would give Sac exactly what they need at PG. Another bottom end team that will get better that we have to compete against.

I really don't understand how Porzingis is higher than Hezonja
