As well as sacrificing starting to come off the bench. I think that would be perfect for him to get the FMVP this year, truely poetic.

Not to mention his dunk contest snubs.

Would be a real feel good story.

He should, but I don't really see another sub 20 ppg player being awarded the FMVP back to back. Do you?

Absolutely we do. IF the W's wins and Curry gets it it will be an embarrassment. Not that it matters but I say that as the biggest Curry fan around. He's been invisible and a disaster at the same time for the majority of this series and Iguodala has been the only thing keeping GS around.

Unless something changes dramatically (and IF the warriors win) it 100% would go to Iggy and Curry should carry it and his bags around for him.

All that said, lets go Steph.

I kinda agree, but keep in mind all our open looks are due to the attention steph draws. Iggy = FMVP but Curry isn't doing as bad as people claim.

Agreed on the open looks. The hockey assists are there and he's getting the ball to the open screener. But his shooting and decision making, and his lack of aggressiveness and defensive mistakes, are a lot more damaging at the moment than his gravity is helping.

He can still erupt as he continues to figure out to play the Cavs defense, so we'll see. But as of now Iggys defense and offense together make it a no brainer.

Even with his pretty good stats tonight, Curry seems to be invisible most of the game.

Iggy definitely seemed more impactful, just from watching.

Curry albeit a nonfactor for a lot of the finals so far, will win due to name and popularity...Iggy deserves it but won't get it. I'd also make a case for Delly over Bron.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

It would be incredible if we won FMVP. It would be compensation for being snubbed and overlooked throughout his career. For years, I've been screaming about how good is he is. Now it seems people finally understand. He's not merely a decent defensive specialist; he's one of the best perimeter defenders of his generation and a bonafide point forward with incredible athleticism and a decent 3 point shot.

Iggy has always been underrated, especially by 76er fans. Should have more All Defensive team nominations, got absolutely robbed in the dunk contest. He was always one of the best defenders in the league along with having great vision and pretty good handles, and improved his shot throughout his career. If he just was never looked at as being the guy to take over for Iverson he would have been a lot more respected.

I think Curry will show up big in game 5 and 6, then win it without question.

Iggy has been great, but Steph is the MVP so far. The attention he draws on offense alone allowed for so many open shots for Iggy and others tonight.

He has an outstanding BBIQ. Kerr consistently raves about how smart he is on the court.

He deserves it so far. No one even talks about his work on LeBron, which is surprising. That should be a storyline but isn't for some reason.

He's been their most consistent player, and has had to play defense on Lebron James. He definitely deserves it.

Steph Curry has been hitting clutch shots galore the last couple of games. The hate he gets for what he's doing with more defensive focus on him than any other player on the court is ridiculous.

This isn't gonna last. If the Warriors win the series then Steph is gonna have to have some big games. The Iggy thing won't won them 2/3 next games.
