Karl did a better job in the WCS and Payne interview by not overstepping. He made it clear that his evaluation for the draft is irrelevant and not his place. He ALSO made it clear that he always evaluates NBA talent and fit..personally I think his word should mean a lot to the front office but more of a suggestion standpoint on the types of players he thinks could fit rather than let's look at this trade or that trade. My 2 cents!

I don't know if his ignorance on the draft is such a good thing. That's usually a telltale sign of an older, experienced coach reluctant to play rookies. Hopefully not considering outside of the PG spot any rookie they draft is most likely > who's in the spot now.
