Russell cancelling his visit with the Sixers means he's a quitter and will quit on the Sixers in hard times. We don't need quitters on this team. (Read that with green font)

He was afraid we would pick apart his shooting again.

He's reading this thread and sad that only 69% of fans prefer him to Mudiay

Isn't Kristaps workout in Vegas today? Possible conflict of schedules?

The "strong-arming to NY" narrative just doesn't make sense to me.

- His twitter activity was very positive towards the Sixers
- He scheduled the visit/workout, in the first place
- His history/friendship with Embiid
- His friendship with Noel

I just think he got a promise from L.A. They wanted him to shut it down and not risk getting hurt in the following weeks.

Or he is hurt.

Or we're rescheduling.

Lot of options

it wouldnt make sense to even cancel a workout from a alkers promise bc if some reason okafor goes 1 then lakers will pick towns

typically promises are used to keep a team above u seeing him lakers dont have that worry

...Or the 76ers have already seen him workout, and don't want to create the same circus that Wiggins visit caused.

Poll: D'Angelo Russell or Emmanuel Mudiay?

Post#1515 » by Ericb5 » Fri Jun 12, 2015 4:24 pm

Let's not jump to conclusions if all we know is that he canceled it. Up until today we didn't even know he was planning on working out with us this weekend.

It could be as simple as they wanted to do it at a different time.

Mudiay may have a promise from the 76ers already or Russell maybe promised by the Knicks.

I don't buy the whole LA or NY thing. Philly isn't Minnesota, it's still a big market and it's a nice destination. Either he got a promise from LA or Minny, or were way over thinking this

I doubt that. Because the Lakers don't know who is going to be available. He can't take their promise, seriously, because there is a chance that Towns would be available. And although forcing his way to NY would make sense, it doesn't mean anything, because the 76ers have picked guys they haven't worked out, in both of the last two drafts. It's not like they haven't seen him live.

i dont see how forcing his way to NY makes sense especially with his relationships with embiid and noel
