Detroit Pistons Voting Big Board - #1

Post#1 » by coordinator0 » Sun Jun 14, 2015 12:28 am

I'm not going to lie, this idea is stolen from Charlotte's forum. It's a an interesting concept and I would like to see what the posters here vote on for Detroit's big board base on value, fit, or whatever. With only twelve days left until the draft we'll only do the top ten with the polls being counted after one day (if there's enough interest). Here we go!

Who's your pick for the #1 player on Detroit's big board?

First one ought to be easy enough, after that it could get interesting.

For #2 and beyond, you might want to use more of the options allowed. There is a large range of variance in posters' ideas. Also, with a gaping hole at SF, you should probably add at least Winslow, Hez, and Johnson from here on out.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Yeah, I was planning on expanding the options quite a bit after Towns is voted first. I'll probably keep about ten different players along with the other option in the poll from here on out.

Found that funny

You should just assume Towns is the first pick because he is the first pick. If minny don't then someone will trade up. i truly think that #2 is the more intriguing pick. I think its Russell

The thread isn't about who the number one pick actually will be by the team who picks them.

The thread is about listing prospects in the order of PISTONS preference.

This is the only pick pistons should make or trade down.

8. Detroit Pistons
Frank Kaminsky, C, Wisconsin: It's possible the Pistons are about to lose Greg Monroe via free agency. So they could use a power forward. And Kaminsky, the reigning National Player of the Year, makes a lot of sense in a lineup next to Andre Drummond.

2014 Key Stats
GP MIN/G PPG REB/G AST/G FG %
39 33.6 18.8 8.2 2.6 54.7

Franks a center and you take best player available end of story. SF in draft are all garbage.

If pistons trade down pick this guy : Bobby Portis
PF (Arkansas - Sophomore)
20.3 years old | 6'11" | 246 lbs

2014-15 NCAA (36 GP)
17.5 PPG 8.9 RPG 1.2 APG 30.0 PER

Man, this draft has bust potential all over it. Where the heck is the "trade the pick for young proven talent" option?

It's a big board, not another "what should the Pistons do?" thread.

Cool. Well, I gotta pick Russell since he's the only legit player in this draft.

That's what the "other" option is for. Pick that one and make your case. Like I said before after Towns gets voted number one for Detroit's big board (which was/is practically a guarantee) there will be more players added to the poll.

I guarantee SVG loves Kristap, dude just has so much potential. I know it's only potential, but it's crazy good potential
