Who ever gets Turner will be very lucky. If we like Zinger and WCS gotta lump Turner in that group too. Of course mocks have me believing he's a big reach at #5 but F-it, our FO know what they're doing. If his name is called out at #5 i wont even do a double-take.

just gotta see if he makes it in for a workout.

Quick take from #Pacers workout: Myles Turner went out of his way to appear vocal, teachable both during the workout and after.

Yea, the only way I'd really scratch my head is if we don't go with WCS, Porzingis or Turner. Maybe it's for the likes of Hezonja, Mudiay or Winslow. But I have a hard time seeing them being head and shoulders more talented than who we have and the better fitting big men prospects that we'd pass up to put more talent at crowded positions on our roster.

Candace Buckner ‏@CandaceDBuckner 3h3 hours ago

Kaminsky didn't finish inside when around a defender (once blocked by Turner, twice bothered by smaller guards). Looked better on perimeter

so, do they not do any kind of athletic testing at these workouts? everyone says that turner's moving better, but where are the numbers? after watching that video, i'd still be a bit concerned about turner's lateral quickness.

I am a little worried if we go with turner. He looks great on offense, but he looks very slow laterally. Combined with vooch, things could get ugly. But he def has great potential in this draft for a 5-6th pick IMO

Turner's offense looks good in the workouts to this point. I would like to see how his defensive skills are like just to get an idea of how he defends, potential, and what he needs to work on. Other than that, he's still on my list of guys I see the Magic picking at 5.

Kaminski said in his interview that Turner was good in D, I guess he must have struggled against Myles.

I read somewhere between here and DX that Kaminsky played against Turner and had some struggles against him in terms of playing better offense.

don't get why kaminsky and turner are working out against each other while porzingis is going 1-on-0. smells fishy.

Unfortunately, this is what agents do

If u r mocked to be mid lottery, u work against anyone u can to rise your value

If u r mocked to be 1-5 range, u play it safe

gotta protect the mystique.

Turner's jumpshot looks pretty slow to me. He takes a long time to gather himself and bring the ball up, so that might be a problem for him in our league, unless he's left wide open.

but Turner looks so much stronger compared to Porzingis. both in the strength with which he brings the ball down, and just his frame in general.

I heard both Turner and Kaminsky struggled finishing inside but I'm not taking anything away from this because I know both are good finshers and both are solid in the post.

I hope to the NBA gods if Turner drops to 11/12 (Indiana/Utah) Henny finds a way to trade for him without trading our #5 (maybe highly improbable).

I will cry tears of joy if we come out this draft with one of Winslow/Hezonja and Turner.
