I never thought you didn't. Bleacher Report and the Trade Forum here still exist. No reason you can't just read those and re-post 'em!

Sorry, had to quote it in case you delete it.

Yes, some of Bleacher Report is true. Mostly because they have so many bloggers and fake writers that they have posted literally every trade ever possible. So, in theory, something has to be right sometimes. Also, with their big money now, they have hired on a few actual, professional writers with some esteem. However, they still publish a ton of fake opinion pieces, merely for any clicks they can get.

They are like every other blog. They throw stuff out there to see if it sticks. They know what most of the people want to read . like this forum throw a fake trade out there and see how many idiots reply and make it different.

I agree that Kaminsky will likely be a quality offensive player (though as I said, I'm not 100% on all of his skills translating), but I'm just not sold on him being able to defend at that level. That was one of the issues with Hansbrough. He was relatively smart (not all the time) and hustled his ass off, but constantly got beat by guys who were just more athletic.

And with Bird's track record in the draft, I'm more than comfortable with him taking the young guy he believes can best reach his potential and there will be several of them there for us. Now if we're trading down a bit to pick up another late first, that's a different story.

I believe that Frank will be a PF at the NBA level. The PF spot is one of the few spots that can be hidden defensively. This is how David West has managed to be a positive contributor for our team despite his awful defense. We have the personnel to hide Frank defensively.

If we believe in his offensive skillset a lot then I could see us making a play for him.

Bird will make a play for Kaminsky because that is the type of player he likes. 4-year guy that has shown he can improve year over year. I am not high on him. If we take him, I will still be happier than when we took Hansbrough. I do think though that this NBA Finals is showing us where the new era of the game is going, and while a guy like Kaminsky will find a role, more 6' 9" centers that get offensive rebounds and can set great perimeter screens (Tristan Thoompson) will become the norm.

My opinion, take a guy like that, or a solid 2-way player that can kind of "do-it-all" to an extent. Trey Lyles, maybe Sam Dekker, etc.

I think the game is changing and we need to adjust our roster sooner rather than later.
