I think we did have one the the best scoring backcourts in the NBA that season. Ben Gordon, Kemba, Sessions and Hendo combined for nearly 60ppg. we just didn't have any production from the bigs.

Yeah I don't think the stats will support that, or else our offensive efficiency wouldn't have been 27th in the league that year.

They really were by pure ppg among starting backcourts. You can look it up. Our other three starters were rookie MKG, sophomore Biz, and Mullens, and our bench was atrocious, which explains the overall awful offense.

He seems to be posting a few videos a day. One of the comments on one of today's videos was this:

"Dude. Grinding is giving it 100%...not these weak ass 1 foot hop shots that even Steph Curry could stuff in your face in a game...I think this is your version of training therefore when you get on the court with a big man in front of you ALL your muscle memory is wrong."

I mean, I can't act like I completely disagree. He seems to get no elevation.

You should go out on a court and try to shoot a 24 footer with no elevation like he does. Its hard as hell.

If he ever does earn enough respect to get guarded on the perimeter, it's going to be nearly impossible to get off without more elevation than that.

Like I said before, I think he's working on his stroke first, and once he's got that down then he does actual jump shots. My guess. I doubt he's going to be pulling off Marc Gasol set shots in game.

Please don't do that trade unless we get a first rounder out of it

if this is how little the Hornets value Stephenson then they might as well trade him for crap like this and move on. good lord. low point of the Cho era so far, in my estimation.

That would be terrible. I'd rather keep Lance in that scenario too.

Is the Joe Johnson route still open by any chance?

Are Hawes and Barnes expiring next summer too? If not I'd rather just keep Lance.

I honestly wouldn't mind the trade.

That trade doesn't sound fun at all. We aren't near competing next year anyway. Why tie up another 5.5-6 mil for two extra years on a guy that couldn't play over Big Baby Davis in a league where his skill you would think would be valued.

I'd rather keep Lance at this point and get it all of the books instead of getting a 36 year old and tying up more space.

I think that it's a pretty decent trade TBH. Barnes would be the first decent backup MKG has had in a while and he isn't afraid to shoot from range. Hawes didn't work out for the Clips, but he's not terrible. Cliff would love his range and find a way to play him.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Also where would Barnes play? He played SF for 94% last year at 30 minutes per game. You think he will be cool with playing half that here? Doubt that for a guy like Barnes, especially on a team that won't compete for a top spot in the conference.
