Re: Who played better vs Golden state, LeBron or Anthony Davis?
I think this is a very good question and really needs to be thought about. I fear that you will get a bunch of "oh Lebron had to carry the entire load for his team" or "Davis isn't at his potential yet" type excuses, but none of that stuff really means that Lebron actually played better than Davis.
I think Davis was clearly the better scorer and probably the more impactful defender while Lebron was better at everything else, so I'm not ready to call this one just yet. Interested to see some in depth responses to this one.

Does Harden deserve to be here? He had the single worst performance by far but his game 2 and game 4 were arguably better than any game by either Davis or Lebron

Lebron by far. Only Westbrook could have done what lebron did

Lebron because he did get the Cavs two wins while Davis got swept

Lebron played the same way in those two wins as he did in their losses. He put up exceptional numbers with poor efficiency. The difference in those games were cold shooting and EXCELLENT defense. The Cavs won 2 games, Not Lebron. That's not to denigrate what Lebron did, it was a very good series by him (not near all time great), and I don't know if I'd say he or Davis was better. Without context it is clearly Davis, but Davis wasn't forced to create 100% of the offense either. I think, given the constraints they had to work with, they both performed admirably.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I didn't want to start going on about Westbrook, but I do want to point out to everyone here that what Lebron had to do this series was the same thing Russ did for 40 games this season. Russ did it better IMO, and never seemed to tire. His motor and energy is on a whole different level.

I would go with LeBron because he really seemed to dictate the tempo of the game more than AD did. Also, remember the game where the Pels had a 20 point lead and the Dubs came back in overtime? Anthony Davis couldn't secure a defensive rebound to save his life down the stretch.

Anthony Davis, the huge gap between efficiency is just too much to be overlooked.

LeBron.
Davis never really shook the Warriors despite him putting up big numbers. The Warriors knew that AD can't win it all by himself. In contrast, if you let LeBron take control of the game, I don't care who you are, it will take a mammoth effort to regain control back.

Davis just has his 1st playoffs appearance while Lebron is the best player of NBA with plenty of playoffs experience. I would say Davis deserving more credits.

As well as the difference in defense, and the fact that he didn't have a million TO's, all while playing team ball and not isoing every play.
