He won the Naismith award two years in a row, even if we're putting that somewhat on the Duke shine he was pretty good. We'll never know how good he would have been in the NBA, especially after the hand check rule change.

And as long as you're bringing him up, I still own CJ McCollum stock would love it if the Sixers picked him up. Had some pretty good games in the playoffs this year.

Yeah, CJ McCollum is alright. Jay Williams was also alright, but he was an over-rated pro prospect. The Naismith award means less than nothing, regarding pro prospect status. He was an undersized SG, masquerading as a PG in Duke's system.

I think Muiday has a chance to be a very good player in the NBA but I have a hard time wrapping my head around getting rid of one highly athletic big pg who can't shoot for another of the same ilk. If we go point, it has to be Russell IMO. It would be a tough sell otherwise...

No offense to Larry Brown, Chad Ford and Jay Williams but if they all favor Mudiay then I definitely rather have Russell .

@PompeyOnSixers: Emmanuel Mudiay on his #Sixers workout: It was good!" He also gave the thumbs-up sign as he spoke.

@PompeyOnSixers: Mudiay left PCOM in an all black sweatsuit and a #Sixers cap. He rode away in a tinted all black Escalade.

@PompeyOnSixers: Mudiay ate dinner Monday night at Barclay Prime with Sixers GM Sam Hinkie. He signed autographs and wore a #Sixers cap.

Yeah I mean I don't think he was good just because he won the Naismith. But to each his own, way too long ago to have a strong opinion

I definitely see y'all trading with the Magic at this point. End up with Mudiay, Aaron Gordon & another asset. Smart.

That would be a nice haul because I still like Mudiay more than Porzingis. Gordon still has tons of untapped potential if he gets coached properly.

Mudiay being out of shape is surprising. I thought that would be one of his advantages over all of the college guys. He's said he's been practicing daily for a whole year. Practicing every day should've kept him in shape.

Not if he goes home and eats pizza and cheesesteaks after workouts. Trust me, I know from experience. :(

Wow, that's quite the haul Downy. I don't see Magic giving up Gordon let alone another asset to move up 2 spots.

That's a nice wish for Knicks fans (having the 2nd best player in the draft fall into your laps at #4). It's not beyond the realm of possibility. I don't think it's going to happen though. The thought that the Magic would be so infatuated with Porzingis, that they allow the 76ers to take advantage of them on draft night two years in a row, is a very remote possibility. There is no way the Magic are going to trade Aaron Gordon or Victor Oladipo to the 76ers, to move up 2 spots for Porzingis, when he's likely to be available anyway or at worst they have to "settle" for Winslow or WCS. The Knicks aren't getting D'angelo Russell. If Russell is available at #3, the 76ers are going to take him.

Trading Gordon to move up 2 spots how do people think of this stuff.

I still think we take Russell if he's on the board at #3 and KAT is gone. If I had to guess he's #2 on their board, especially after seeing all the analytics and advanced stats on him. He's a very exciting prospect. He's not flawless, but has a great combination of skills and attitude to work with.

I bet if we started this poll over again, it would be much closer to 50/50.

Jay Williams could ball. Not sure he would've been a superstar, but he would've been a proto-Russel Wesbtbrook and a top 10 pg. CJ McCollum? GTFO!!

Athletic, score first point guard with range. Not saying he would've been as good, but the style predates Westbrook and there's a lot of similarity. I saw a ton of him in college, still think he would've been a very good pro.

Maybe Jeff Teague and a top 10 PG? Westbrook wasn't just a top 10 PG this season, he was a top 10 player. Arguably top 5.
