He wasn't considered a lock for the lottery before we were rumored to be interested and there aren't any other teams that he has been linked to. There also haven't been any reports of him wowing in any workouts or anything, just that he is definitely a good shooter.

He worked out for the Nuggets and Heat too.

True, but we didn't hear anything about them being impressed or having interest. I don't think Booker should slide past the late lottery. I can't imagine OKC passing on him if hes there unless someone else slides, but I don't know who that would be.

I honestly don't think we've heard anything about us being impressed either, it just makes sense because we obviously need his skillset.

I mean if MJ had come out to Booker's practice then maybe we'd have something to go on, but everything has just been speculation.

I agree with your point though that OKC is about as far as he'll likely drop.

Fair enough.

Lol Bookers floor isn't freaking 9. Kyler is a joke. Pistons aren't drafting a 2. Kings aren't drafting another 2, I don't think so anyway. Nuggets want a PG.

Hahahah not a chance in hell Booker's floor is 9. Who in front of us could you possibly see taking him? The Magic?

No one. Magic have Elfriid and Oladipo. Kyler is a horrid reporter. Bookers floor at 9? Lol. Man oh man. He must need some hits on his site badly.

wait a second....didn't Kyler mock Booker to the Magic? he might be mistaking him for Booker-T or something.

I figured it out. He is just that sure that we are taking him at 9, so his ceiling is 9 and his floor is also 9. 9/9 = 6/6 = 666 #illuminatti

:o :o :D instead of drafting Booker at #9, we should trade down to #14 with OKC...draft Jerman Grant as backup point...trade them Zellar for McGary and Lamb

Yep, though I think he's gone away from that now.

Worked out for Pistons as well. I don't think he would slip past OKC. His range is IMO 7-13.

i really hope Denver or Detroit drafts him- that way I don't have to worry about us overlooking Winslow or Johnson or Hezonja just to take Booker- that would be a tough one to explain.

I think it is easy to explain but I know I am in the minority. He is a better fit than the first two and just better than the third IMO. With this grouping around our pick any one of them could be the best or worst of the group and a lot of that will depend on fit with the team that takes them.

He's not better than Mario.
