Agreed, Dwyane Wade is 6"4 and widely regarded as possibly the third greatest SG ever. Obviously clarkson will never reach those accolades but it means 6"5 is absolutely a height that you can work with. Monta Ellis is 6"3 and became one of the better scorers in the league.

None...you living in fantasy land if you think we'll give up #2 so your cheap ass owner wont match butlers offer

hmmm all this talk about how it's important to have a rim protector as your last line of defense to win championship, i just realize that scrub Dwight is exactly that yet his teams always fail with the except of 2009 when he took the Magic to the finals.

Historically the Lakers have always won their titles with a rim protector or alters enough shots. Kareem, Shaq, Bynum. But Dwight may have changed the lakers way of thinking, the Al Jefferson comparison to Okafor isn't impressive though. I don't want to waste a 2nd pick on a guy that will be the next Jefferson at best.

No. Just means they realize no bs summer this year. They got to pay b players with years and cash over trash like Hill, Wes, Lin ... The free agent big crop is there this year. There is really only two pgs on the market unless if they go wade at SG

He did miss a layup for 72-70 and now missed a REALLY deep 3 for 73-73 and now Satoransky botched a pass to Hezonja who was cutting.

I really want him. He's just a kid to whom guys like Navarro, Huertas are deferring to. I like him, I want him.

I'd still take Okafor, I just love his game in the post. But with a lower pick (5-8 range) Hezonja is definetly worth it.

I cooled off Okafor. My list 10 days ago was

1. KAT
2. Okafor
3. Hezonja

Now it's KAT at 1 and Hezonja at 2 spot. Okafor's lack of defense, free throws, weird shot release...all a turnoff for me.

Rose, Butler, Mirotic and three 1sts, otherwise what incentive do we have to bail out your cheap owner and franchise?

In other words, there is no deal. Kupchak would laugh the Bulls off the phone I can imagine.

Not to mention Butler alone isn't worth the #2 pick in a vacuum. And some role player won't bridge the gap.

Careful what you ask for...bulls might actually be happy to rid themselves of iron man rose and his bloated contract

This guy Mario would be our answer to Draymond Green in terms of trash talk. Green just called out the cavs at their parade.

I wouldn't feel comfortable drafting mario @2....i liked him alot too when i thought we were gona stay at 4 or drop to 5. Taking him at 2 pretty much should guarantee mitch/jim departure from the front office if he doesnt pan out and even if he does...is a klay Thompson lvl player really warrant a #2 selection?

I do understand that it's too big of a risk to take with Mario for FO but all the posts about him from me are to be taken with a grain of salt...I'm more of a homer about him than about Kobe, Lakers or my mother.

Hezonja was asked earlier this year if he went to go see soccer legend Lionel Messi play for FC Barcelona. He responded: "Let Messi come to see me."

 The balls on this kid. After nearly 20 years of Kobe, not sure I could handle it.

I would love it if mgmt could find a way to trade #2 and get mario and 1 of these 3 wcs, kristpah or turner (i think this guy can grow to 7ft and fill in to be a nice pairing with Randle)

lol like I said, him and draymond going at each other minimum 4 times a year would make a good rivalry especially if the Lakers can be a playoff contender

I love Mario's attitude and wouldn't mind drafting him, but not with the #2. He projects to be Klay Thompson, well Klay Thompson was like the 11th pick in the draft. There's noting that justifies up picking Mario that high

I think Russel would be the best pick for you guys. Hezonja is probably the biggest boom-bust guy in the draft. Okafor didn't impress me that much in college, and seems like a bad fit for your team.
