Very interested to see if they keep both Love and Thompson, especially with them both wanting serious coin.

If Love left and came to the Suns, I imagine it would be a two year deal, second year being a player option. This way he can evaluate our talent moving forward, while getting back to his 25/12 plus days, and getting the max contract he can get once that tv money kicks in.
Honestly if we moved forward with Bled/Knight/Warren/Love/Len and Kieff on the bench, I'd feel pretty confident in the direction of the team.

Tucker is really a good complement here. He can play behind Warren. He can teach him and give him tips on how to work, defend, be a professional... then he can get some minutes or a lot of minutes if Warren has not improved enough to be our main SF.
I believe Granger could play some minutes still in this league.
The question is what to do with Green...

Would be awesome if Bogdanovic turns out to be a solid starting SG. He looks to have all the skills required to complement Bledsoe in an actual SG frame.

He thinks the Suns have a small chance to get one of them and his partner thinks they have no chance. I agree that when it comes down to it, why would either one of them want to come to the Suns. They will get max offers from any interested team and there are far better situations out there for them than what the Suns currently have, unfortunately. Gambo also mentioned the Suns would love to get rid of the Morris brothers but it is going to be incredibly hard to trade them because of their legal issues. Here is the link if anyone wants to listen: http://arizonasports.com/?nid=244&a=313154&p=&n=

Why wouldn't either guy come here? A chance to be a star on an up and coming team. Both guys will never be the man in their current situation. It's basically the same reason Joe Johnson left-- to be the star of a franchise and get paid handsomely.

If all they wants is to be the man on their teams and get paid then Aldridge will resign with Portland and Love wouldn't be traded from Minnesota at all.

If getting them is a plan A then I hope Suns have great plan B :(

Enjoy when Gambo brings it but
Love is going to be in Cleveland or with Kobe

LaMarcus will be in Portland, Dallas or god forbid, San Antonio

Neither are happening and I will gladly be proven wrong

As for the Morris twins - the legal thing is a challenge but if they do get traded, the return will be about a C or a contract that is not the greatest. I am okay with trading these guys. That is the start to the solution.

As forTucker - I say trade him and after Rondae

You do realize both players were already a star on an up & coming team? Now they probably want to play with other stars so they don't have to do the heavy lifting alone every night.

It's funny how everyone seems to know exactly what these players are thinking. There are a lot of different things that motivate players that have nothing to do with basketball.

Location
Neighborhoods
Schools
Family connections
Organization
Friends
Outside business interests

And there is also
Team medical staff
Team chemistry
Personal "fit"
Potential for competitiveness (all that matters is what the player believes. Not the fans)
Role on the team (can he play his best position)

I am so glad that the Suns front office is going to swing for the fences in free agency. "All in" is exactly what they should do. Get the big fa in love or alderidge or just stick with our present young players if that fails.

I don't see too much in Bogdan yet but I'd be excited when he finally puts on the uniform. I would be happy if he turns into a rotation player for us.

1) Lillard is the star in Portland.
2) Love was traded to Cleveland and didn't like being the 3rd option.
3) There's always a plan B.

This is what I love about McD-- he doesn't settle in FA.

I've read other posts on BSotS say that Bogdan isn't very good, so don't get your hopes up. If he isn't very good in Europe, he isn't going to accomplish hardly anything in the NBA. However, I know absolutely nothing about him and have never seen him play.

All homerism aside, how good is he really? I would like an answer from an objective observer of his play.

I believe he's won best young player in Europe (or something like that) in consecutive seasons. He seems to be quite good.

Bogdan and Goodwin are my two favorite Suns prospects. Len is not a prospect anymore in my book, he just needs solid minutes and he will be a legit center.

If we lost Brandan Wright because he decided he'd rather play elsewhere, what big (realistically) would you want to go after? Koufos? Jordan Hill?
