Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Gambo has reported Suns and Knicks have held discussion about trading Bledsoe and the 13th pick for the 4th pick, as long as Okafor has already been selected.
Suns would then select the 7'1 PF Kristaps Porzingis.
Then we would not need to focus on the overrated Kevin Love, so that would be good.
Discuss.

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Bled plus 13 is to much for 4. IF we take out 13 then I would strongly consider it.

Speculation at it's finest. While I'd love to unload Bledsoe, I think McD has hitched his horse to that wagon.

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Bledsoe for 4th plus filler is what I would do. 13th and Bled is too much.
I think Porzingis is going to crush it in the NBA and him and Len together could be nasty the Euro twin towers.
Porzingis has good hip fluidity, good lateral movement, he looks athletic, he could be a Darko but I think if he adds some muscle he could be very very good

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Porzingis is exactly the type of player that McDonough likes a lot. Long, versatile, huge upside and european. In two drafts, two european players selected ( Len and Bogdanovic ).
IF McDonough thinks that Porzingis can be an star he will trade Bledsoe for him. But Bled + #13? ....I don't know. ...

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
I'm beginning to think McD would trade 13 and Bledsoe for 4 if Porzingis is there, and maybe even if he isn't. I really don't know if the Knicks would though. They sure are not talking about it on their board as if it's something that is likely.

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
If it happens, it would probably be Bled, Cavs pick for #4. I think we would still need to keep #13.

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
If Len & Porzingis reached their potential down the road they'd be a dynamic frontcourt but the likelihood of any player reaching peak is rare these days. Although neither played AAU ball so...

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Dude...no!
Sounds like the Knicks want Okafor but are willing to pass on Ponzingis.
They are smart.
If we trade Bledsoe for the skinny euro unknown, I will **** myself in the middle of America West Arena in protest and then go sit on Sarvers lap.

If Gambo is reporting it, then you it isn't true. McD keeps his buisness quiet

This right here could be in play.
Suns might also consider Bledsoe for #4 + Calderon. Suns take on the ultimate veteran PG (and his salary) who could come off the bench and back up Knight.

Would want WCS at No 4 not Porzinigis. Very risky trading Bled for an unknown though.

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Doubt Bledsoe gets traded anytime soon. Seems like they're really high on him especially after starting him at PG over an All-NBA Third Team guard.

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Not how McDonough operates by leaking info like this.
Sounds like NY setting the bar, and seeing how high teams want to jump to get pick 4.
How many times have teams traded out of the top 5 on draft day?

Two things
1) I agree. Gambos' sources used to be very good - now not so much
2) yesterday - around 5pm, listening to Gambo and Marotta, Gambo was emphatic that no conversations between NYK and Phoenix have taken place since the trade deadline
I think I would move Bledsoe
Sign Knight and Wright
Move the Morris twins
Use the 4th pick on whomever
See if I can sign Danny Green
Not give up the 13th pick
Take n the Calderon deal for back up PG if need e
Sign Patric Young
Go balls out for Love or LaMarcus

Re: Suns Moving Up in Draft?
Well.........that is what I thought yesterday.........and posted it in the draft thread. Winslow or Kristaps. I believe we need a PF more than a SG with Bogdan and Warren as being primary scorers. I'd keep Bledsoe and go after Kaminsky or Turner, but I guess McD believes the Kristaps is the second or maybe best player in this draft.
